Everything about this Pousada was exceptional. From arrival, throughout our stay, to departure, the staff were all super helpful and friendly. Our rooms were very comfortable indeed and the breakfast was delicious.

What a gem! Sure, it's not a luxurious hotel but it has such a great atmosphere, perfect location and lovely staff there's nothing not to like. One of the best mornings we had in our trip was spent in the pousada as it was raining. We played some family pool and table tennis, relaxed in the hammocks and played some card games until the rain eased off. The location is spot on - turn a corner and you're in the old town, walk 5 minutes and you're on the high street where all the tour agencies are. Honestly, a joy.
Huge bonus for the kids: the pool (again, small but very comfortable) was heated so even though we were there during winter, we used the pool on a daily basis. And there was even a sauna.

Phenomenal spot. Best breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel, and a very good on-site restaurant. The property was lovely, staff were quite attentive including several English-speakers, and room comfort was high. Four pools so you could take your pick. Prices for both the stay and the restaurant were very reasonable.

The breakfast was great and we loved the patio that breakfast was served at. It was nice to have an opening to the outside. also loved the pool area. Nice area to sit and read.
