We stayed for a matter of hours - as planned. The room was basic (TV, aircon and en-suite toliet/shower room but perfect for our needs. Check in was smooth - the owner / manager spoke English. We wanted somewhere reasonably priced closer to the airport, so we could have somewhere cool to take a nap. The food (burger, fries and pizzas were all nice and were accompanied by a delicious fruit salad. Food prices were very reasonable. there was a small pool - more of a plunge pool than a swimming pool, which was clean but we did not use it. It is around 10 minute walk to some waterside bars and another 10 minutes further to a nice beach, which had more bars for drinks / food. It is a bit too far out of the way for visiting RIo's sights but for a quiet, short, beach getaway it would be a great find. The rooms and bathrooms are getting a bit worn now but they were clean and the air con worked well.
