Fazenda Eco-Jardim - for the second time now I stayed at Eco-Jardim. I find this an extraordinary and beautiful place. It's the perfect location to relax within beautiful nature in a very well maintained environment. The place offers very nice and clean rooms, a romantic porch where you oversee the garden and get a glimpse of the plantation it lies in. I was offered and served on arrival a perfect and tasty homemade (by the owner himself) pizza, great breakfast in the morning. The owner is fluent in German, English and Portuguese - he likes to sit down with you, and explain this project of eco farming, and he likes to show you around as well. Overall - it's a place I am looking forward to come back again to, and I want to recommend it to everyone who gets the chance to visit beautiful Bahia !!! Fazendo Eco-Jardim -- see you soon again !! The location is amazing and very easy to reach flying to the Comandatuba airport. The food was very diverse, serving typical local dishes to beef bourguignon. The beach is very nice. The seawater is clean, though not clear. For small children the sea is quite choppy, but they have life savers around and if you stay in the very shallow area it’s fine.
