The Maisonette's location is good - easy to find and at the same time a few minutes (walk) from the main pedestrian area.
The host was very kind, gave us useful information about the town, places to visit, to eat, etc.
I especially liked the furnishing and equipment, everything is well thought of + a pinch of details to make you smile.

Villa Lisets is a true gem! Located in the nice village of Gorna Brestnitsa near the city of Kyustendil and at the foot of Lisets mountain it offers a great combination of easy accessibility and options for walks in the nature or in the city, while taking a good rest at the property.
The villa itself offers all the amenities listed and even more: a big yard, a swimming pool with reverse flow, a hot tub, a ping-pong table, a field for volleyball or badminton.
There is a big hall with a kitchen and big tables, suitable for celebrations and parties, located between the small and the big house. It's equipped with a high quality sound system with a Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi, a big-screen TV. There is also the option for karaoke if you bring your own microphones (if I remember correctly – big TRS jack, but do ask about it).
On top of the hall there is a big terrace with tables and a barbecue. There is a bigger barbecue in the yard capable of accommodating three different dishes cooking at the same time, including something bigger, like a lamb for example.
The rooms of both the small and the big house are comfortable, cosy and stylish. Each is equipped well with everything needed and with some sort of a heating and in some cases cooling system. If I remember correctly most if not all rooms have their own TV's.
There is a water heating system powered by the sun, covering some of the house's needs (I didn't ask specifically how much), so this is an additional plus for taking care of the environment too.
The view from the whole property is amazing. The house is located on a hill so there is a 360-degrees view of the nearby mountains, villages and the city.
Villa Lisets is located at about an hour and a half from Sofia with a car. You can also get to Kyustendil by bus (~1,5 hrs) or train. But you have to make sure you have transportation from the railway/ bus station to the villa, since it's ~6,5km away.
