B&B De Laak, hotel in Zutendaal

Boasting a sauna, B&B De Laak is located in Bilzen. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

When arriving we got invited into the house by the host (and a very sweet dog) and sat around the kitchen table where he explained everything to us. In the morning we joined the family at the kitchen table again for a chat, and a very luxurious breakfast with freshly baked eggs and bacon, fruits, yoghurt, buns, and even chocolate buns! :) The location is very calm and quiet but still close to the city centre where there is a variety of cozy bars and restaurants.

The location is amazing, beautiful environment and nature, very peaceful. There are a lot of playfacilities for the children. The end of the park is more new, we were at the beginning of the park and the houses and main facilities looked older.

Great camping to go with the family. My children loved the tent. It is super well equipped and you have a tent experience a the same time. There are a lot of playgrounds with options for different ages. Super nice experience!

Very cute chalet in the middle of nature. You can hear the birds singing all day long, it's very relaxing. The chalet is big enough, very functional, and decorated with taste. There is an open outdoor sitting area as well as a covered outdoor sitting area for when it rains. It's near a lot of nice areas and there are a few restaurants walking distance from the chalet. The owners are very welcoming. I highly recommend it!

This is a hidden gem. The hosts are very friendly and helped us out at short notice (another booking.com host cancelled on us at the last minute without even a message to explain), the chalet is spacious, quaint and comfortable. It is decorated with great love and care. The location is not somewhere we had been before and although we were there just one night we found it such a lovely location - in the forest, surrounded by trees, where we woke to the sound of birds. Our children loved it and made us promise to return soon ...

The owners are incredibly kind and friendly and made my stay feel quite comfortable and welcoming. The rooms are simple, but immaculately clean, and I had everything I needed. The food in the restaurant is very good. Overall, great value for the money, and a charming family-run business that I will return to every time I am in the area.

Breakfast was very good, especially the bacon & eggs. This is a family run hotel that has recently been put in the capable hands of one of the children. The new owner has great ideas but is sensible enough to keep the old fashioned values that have built up over the years. Alterations are being made to upgrade the facilities slowly but surely. I would recommend this hotel especially to cyclists or walkers in the area.
