Tinaroo Sunset Retreat, hotel in Atherton

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Tinaroo Sunset Retreat is situated in Barrine in the Queensland Region, 37 km from Cairns. Free private parking is available on site.

Definitely a relaxing retreat, immersed in nature away from the bustle. Fireplace was loaded with wood ready to get toasty. Freshly made bread and fruit platter awaited us. There was a spa bath on the back deck (didn’t use, but would have been superb, as you look out onto the tops of trees). Service was excellent - Lachlan was very nice to deal with.

Hallorans Hill Holiday Home, hotel in Atherton

Featuring a garden, Hallorans Hill Holiday Home is located in Atherton in the Queensland region, 2.2 km from Curtain Fig National Park.

The accommodation was very suitable for us as it poured with rain, was windy and very cold. The space inside and the deck were perfect for the weather conditions. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and both times we didn't get to explore the back garden due to weather. Lots of room, good kitchen, tv is accessible and shower has 2 choices which is important for our family.

It was a beautiful, comfortable house so we felt very at home. Beds were comfy and bathrooms, kitchen and living areas all excellent. Very pleasant back deck and pretty garden. Extras like tea and cupboard staples were most appreciated. Plenty of cups, glasses, plates etc. cosy warm rugs, books and games all added value to a family holiday.
