Heinz even took us on an early bird ski trip around Kaltenbach. Lovely staff; they do their very best to serve you all day round with a big smile.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
An excelent establishment, very well taken care of, a lot of attention given to details. The owners were there almost daily, open and available for any feedback. Traditional building, with a lot of facilities (spa, pool indoor connecting with outdoor, spacious bar, yet cozy, very good food, generous playroom for kids, parking outdoor and underground, lecture room, own water spring in the restaurant, great evening programs). This is a go to hotel, over and over. Situated in a small village, yet so close to the highway.
This was our second time visiting das Urgestein. Some of my favorite things are the host, the beautiful location, and all the new amenities (whirlpool, sauna, and kids playground).
What surprised me this time was the new ‘tech’. We were able to fill the whirlpool from the comfort of our apartment (super cool).
The space was amazing, smart tv, 3 TV’s available for families, full kitchen appliances and amazing mountain views. We couldn’t have asked for more and Jessica was amazing.
