This was our second time visiting das Urgestein. Some of my favorite things are the host, the beautiful location, and all the new amenities (whirlpool, sauna, and kids playground). What surprised me this time was the new ‘tech’. We were able to fill the whirlpool from the comfort of our apartment (super cool).

An excelent establishment, very well taken care of, a lot of attention given to details. The owners were there almost daily, open and available for any feedback. Traditional building, with a lot of facilities (spa, pool indoor connecting with outdoor, spacious bar, yet cozy, very good food, generous playroom for kids, parking outdoor and underground, lecture room, own water spring in the restaurant, great evening programs). This is a go to hotel, over and over. Situated in a small village, yet so close to the highway.

The flat was very well furnished with lots of kitchen amenities, bathroom amenities. It was well insulated, warm and quiet. We slept very well. Convenient off street parking. On arrival our hosts had prepare some food for us, there was wine, lovely herbal tea...they even baked gluten free bread for my daughter. Sonja and Gunther were friendly, helpful and warm.
