This was a lovely hotel right on the water in St Wolfgang. There's a private garden with two jacuzzi baths, and a private waterfront area for swimming. My room had a nice terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. Its very easy to get to the hotel by ferry, as the dock is only a few minutes away. You can also easily arrive by bus.
My room was lovely and I appreciated that there was a speaker system with several music channels.
The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was cosy and friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Lovely traditional property with a great view of the lake and very well located for the old cable car and ferry. It is a 5-10 minute walk into the town and is no hardship.
Room was nicely furnished in an eclectic and traditional manner and our bathroom was slightly old fashioned but worked well. I believe other rooms have had their bathrooms modernised, but it was not a problem.
Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice, both hot and cold and we had a good meal in the restaurant at night, which was also good value.
Had a lovely sauna area with a relaxation room which we made use of one afternoon.
Staff were always helpful and friendly and we would certainly stay here again.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We had a family holiday with infant. We asked for child bed and owner provided as well a child chair even we didn’t asked. For somebody it looks like normal, but ask for me it is just an example of approach of owner. They were very nice and helpful. They do really care of their guests. 🙂
I do really recommend apartments at the ground floor because you can use perfect terrace.

Everything, literally everything. It's almost like family at this traditional Austrian hotel. Rooms maybe be small but very carefully and well equipped. Kids play area and private lake area complete the experience. Staff and owners were so so considerate it was exceptional. Marjorie, Alexandria and Hugo really put their heart in this property. This is the kind of of place that stays in your heart forever. One of the best stays I've had anywhere
I absolutely loved the place! Very maintained, peaceful and with a great yard for the kids, only minutes away from their private beach and the train and boat stations. The family was very forthcoming and provided with the best possible service. Will be coming back to Waldhorn apartments!
The apartment was just great, perfect for a family trip. The private waterfront area was also really nice. Plenty of space there to spend the day when the weather is good. Really pleasant host.
There's also a nice play area in the garden for the kids with some toys.
A great family hotel, amazing side, wonderful views. Quietness and peaceful atmosphere! The hosts are always trying to do their best for each guest. They even made us some tea upon our request the evening when we arrived.

We had some hard time, with no serenity and peace of mind due to the family with small children upstairs, running around and shouting all evening along. It was like drums playing overhead
We stayed with two small children and we all loved the place. The apartment was huge with two bedrooms, bathroom, dining room and living room. There were games and toys available for the kids. The kitchen had everything so we could cook comfortably. Location is quiet and very close to Wolfgangsee, Schafberg and other great sights.
