The location is everything. The views from the rooms are really worth it. Also, Dinner was great. Mainly though, the staff were all amazing and made our stay even more enjoyable!

The cottage is located a short drive from the main town. It's spacious and has lots of light. From the windows you can see the mountains which is spectacular. The cottage is well styled and feels homely. It was warm enough once the gas central heating has been on for a few hours. The host is very friendly and makes himself/ family available for questions/ help. He sent a video of the property before we arrived with clear directions of how to get there and enter the property. He also checked in with us during our stay.
It rained most of the time we spent in the Hotel so naturally the views were not as spectacular as they would be usually.
The hotel is magnificently constructed of wood and granite, and antler lights are atmospheric.
The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was old but clean and functional.
We walked in the Arrayanes forest nearby which is lovely, and just a short walk from the hotel.
