The electric heater in our room was not powerful enough for subzero temperatures at nights, but the potbelly stove worked fine.

The staff, especially Diana, were extremely nice and helpful. The unit itself is more than decent and breakfast was very good. The fact breakfast is served in the room at the time of your choosing was really great for us. We just rolled out of bed 10 minutes before breakfast, picked it up at the door and enjoyed a cosy family breakfast in our PJs.

This is a charming group of cottages on a hillside over Tilcara. It’s run by a lovely young couple. The cottages were individually built in the local adobe style with all modern conveniences. There were nice places sit and grill. They even had yoga on site. Really a nice place to chill and explore the region. I can highly recommend.

We loved the deco of house and location. Garden is full of succulents and cactus which brings extra charm, and kids loved to play around them! Gaby was very helpful and responsive too! We definitely recommend this place if you stay in Tilcara.
Staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. Staff especially at dinner, was not very attentive. Dinner itself was ok, breakfast was good. Rooms and bathrooms are big, everything is nicely decorated and very clean - rooms get cleaned every day. Rooms are all arranged around the very well maintained garden and pool. There is plenty of seating in the garden.
The outdoor pool is heated and child friendly! So after a hard day of hiking, there is no better way to relax.

The host was super lovely and the main bedroom is gorgeous. Hugggge bed, must be at least king size. You have a little fridge and kettle as well for your mate in the morning. We enjoyed the little courtyard in the front. Hot water didn’t run out either after two people showering in a row which is a plus! Quite a large space, it would be comfortable with a family.
Friendly staff, functional kitchen, great laundry service, beautifully styled space. Staff were the best part as they were SO lovely! Breakfast is also amazing.

The rooms are very functional, it's clean and the showers are good. WiFi was workable, it's a peaceful location on a side street not far from the main square and about 10 mins walk from the terminal. The hostel staff was friendly with good prior communication. Very good value.
we had a wonderful time at Tilcara hostel. Carolina, Nico and Camilo (and their dogs) are a very cute family and they make you feel right at home. the breakfast was very complete for Argentinan standards and the hostel is located very well in the center of Tilcara. Thanks a lot Carolina!!
Its a small hostel with a BIG heart!! I couldn’t have wished for a better start of my trip. The owners are incredibly welcoming and I felt like part of a family. every morning everyone met in the small kitchen and you have the feeling of visiting a friends’ home rather than a hostel. Highly recommended!!
Super kind family-friendly apartment with a secured parking area and garden with playground to relax in. The family hosting us were truly amazing people, and were very welcoming. I would stay here again then next time I am visiting the area. Highly recommend to other travelers.
