We recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The rooms and common areas were nice and clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any questions or needs. We did encounter a minor issue with our room, but the hotel staff were quick to address it. They offered us a better room free of charge, which showed their commitment to excellent customer service. Although the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, there's a great 24/7 cafe in the same building. This made it easy to grab a meal or a snack at any time of day or night.

Very pleasant staff, they run also small bakery and grossary under hotel. the hotel is probably new or after fresh redecorating because everything looks good.we planned only one night on our trip to Tatev and Goris but with satisfaction we chose it for additional night on the way from Goris to Sevan.

Gnishik is literally right at the end of the road, you can go no further, but the Eco Lodge certainly makes the journey worthwhile. The gent who let us in and gave us the keys was very pleasant and helpful and communication before arrival was excellent. It was made clear that the location was remote and that we would have to bring our food and drink with us. This was fine and the shared kitchen was very well equipped. We had a lovely en suite room upstairs with wonderful views from our balcony, especially of the beautiful rose garden in the back garden. We were also lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There was a problem with the WiFi in the early evening, but it was quickly resolved and worked very well for us after that; not good enough to stream, but perfectly well for browsing, emails, etc. We parked in the drive in front of the Lodge, but there are zero security concerns. If you get the chance to visit, then we strongly suggest that you do. The drive south from Lake Sevan is truly spectacular. The last few kilometres of road were pot holed and slow going, but perfectly accessible if you drive slowly. Overall, this is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and relax and we loved our visit. Very highly recommended.

That’s where I met the director of an Armenian company, who was sleeping in the same house! (and he spoke French) The landlord is kind, the breakfast was excellent and copious, the location is in a quiet part of the city (However it’s a dirtroad, no problem if you have a big car). Fortunately I brought two extra persons and they had a free room to host them.
