Featuring a bar and a terrace, Sapientia Boutique Hotel is set in Coimbra, 600m from S. Sebastião Aqueduct and 400m from University of Coimbra. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Sapientia Boutique Hotel. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was very large and the bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. WiFi worked well. We had a wonderful, delicious dinner outside on the terrace! There is a rooftop patio with really incredible views. The location is very convenient to tour the Coimbra University! If you drive to Coimbra, make sure you get good directions to get out of the old part of the town. The streets are narrow, many are one-way, and are difficult to navigate. Don’t rely on Google maps! We loved our stay here and would stay here again!

Ideally situated in Coimbra, Zero Box Lodge Coimbra features air-conditioned rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a terrace. Everything was simply great. We just spent one night but it was so comfortable, very good location, helpful staff (Free beer is the best thing that a hotel could offer!) It was so clean and simple. We loved it and recommend it to everybody!

Hotel Domus offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk, just 80 metres from Coimbra-A Railway Station. It takes a 10-minute walk to the Old Cathedral of Coimbra. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for getting to the Lavandaria and train station. the terrace off our room was an unexpected yet fabulous bonus. Quiet, calm, clean and teeming with many types of beautiful plants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I can only guess the 1-star is because it is older, small, and not chic but forget the star and stay here. Also, as an XL, Tall person, everything fit well: bed, shower, hotel itself. The desk recommended a place to eat around the corner and it was absolutely fantastic.

Jacuzzi included in the price, breakfast, reception information in french. English and Portuguese. Nice bedroom, clean, good shower

This modern 4-star hotel is located near the Mondego River in historic Coimbra. Its modern rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite and paid movie channels. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in staff were very helpful with parking, supplying us with a map and directions to walk to an event. Breakfast was excellent. We were SO grateful to have parking under the building.
