Without doubt, Arachchi Heritage is the best place we stayed in Anuradapura, during our time in Sri Lanka ! Excellent services from arrival to departure. The staff was extremely friendly, we felt very homely. Great view of Lake 'Thisa' and most of the key pagodas in Anuradapura. Breathtaking view in the early morning. Food, love it 😍. Arachchi Heritage carries sentimental values and heritage of essence of Sri Lanka. If you are looking for a place to stay which you can connect with the environment and oneself , Arachchi Heritage is a place you must consider. Definitely will come back when we visit Sri Lanka next year.

The staff were amazing, the menu changed daily and was delicious. There are not many places to go in Anuradhapura so it was wonderful to stay somewhere that was so wonderful.

I enjoyed every aspect of my stay at Saubagya Inn. My room was clean, comfortable and had a wonderful decor. There’s good water pressure with hot water. My hosts were welcoming and made me feel like a member of the household. Mayon is the cutest little boy!! Wi-Fi was fast. I had my favorite meal during my whole trip here—beef rendang served with breadfruit curry, raita, and papadam. Nice outdoor roof covered seating to relax after a day of exploring. Property also offers bike rentals.

Situated in Anuradhapura, 4.4 km from Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Monaara Leisure - Anuradhapura features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We chose Monaara Resort last minute because our original hotel that evening was disappointing. In addition, there was a major power stop. Despite these circumstances and the late time, we were warmly welcomed and offered a delicious meal. The hotel staff did everything they could to make things as good as possible for us despite the power stop. Our room was clean, spacious and met our expectations. The pool was also clean. The staff is very friendly, thinks in terms of solutions and can, for example, arrange bicycles to explore Anuradhapura. The breakfast was delicious and very extensive, perhaps the best breakfast we had on our tour through Sri Lanka.Finally, the hotel manager arranged a very affordable transfer to our next hotel. We had a very good and friendly driver who took us along a beautiful route in his spacious tuk tuk and told us about his country. Compliments to all staff, our driver and the hotel manager, we highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back.

As soon as you arrive, the owner explains his philosophy : affordable rooms, free washing machine, free bikes, and a staff that will do everything to help you. Full transparency, no hidden costs or commissions. The happy clients will then naturally put a comment on Booking and will keep the place on the well deserved top of the list. Win / Win. It is simple, we spent our best night in Sri Lanka with the team and a few guests, sharing drinks, noodles and life stories from very different cultures. The day we left, the staff offered to delay check out to allow us to have a shower after a 6 hours bike visit, and the owner also kindly drove us to the bus station with his own car. I strongly recommend this place.
