I was using my laptop at night, enjoying the nice breeze in a wonderful environment. They requested me to keep the food waste outside and clean immediately; that made a big difference to the room. If I had left them in the room, that could have made the room smell. They are really doing a good job of keeping the room clean. They have a nice kitten; don't forget to say hi to him.

We arrived late at night from Wilpattu and the hosts swept us off our feet with their hospitality. We were fed a superb dinner and given a much needed drink. The breakfast was also excellent with a bevy of fresh fruits, tea, coffee, and juice on offer. The room was big and equipped with all the right amenities including a good shower, fridge, and AC. At one point in the night the power did cut out but a simple flip of the breaker outside our room and we were back up.

I enjoyed every aspect of my stay at Saubagya Inn. My room was clean, comfortable and had a wonderful decor. There’s good water pressure with hot water. My hosts were welcoming and made me feel like a member of the household. Mayon is the cutest little boy!! Wi-Fi was fast. I had my favorite meal during my whole trip here—beef rendang served with breadfruit curry, raita, and papadam. Nice outdoor roof covered seating to relax after a day of exploring. Property also offers bike rentals.

We enjoyed our stay at Monaara. The Staff was very friendly, check-in process very smooth, family room has a good size (2 adults, 2 kids). After having toured the ancient city & temples, especially kids enjoyed the pool a lot! At the evening chef Lakitha serves delicious local food - including some special dishes for our kids! For Breakfast you have to try the self-made peanut butter… and fruits harvested from the own garden. It just was a lovely stay!
