Renovated in 2016, the beautiful, chalet-like Active Life Madarao offers ski-to-door access from Madarao Kogen Ski Resort, a 3-minute walk away. The general meals area was nice and large, the spa and games room were all great facilities for tried ski legs.

Located a 3-minute walking distance from Madarao Kogen Ski Resort, Madarao, Xplore by Active Life offers relaxing public baths and ski-to-door access. Cost and casual place to stay for a ski/snowboard trip. Very friendly staff and the location for the hotel is very good. I was on the slopes after a 5 min walk.

Located in Iiyama, 16 miles from Ryuoo Ski Park, Chalet Madarao provides accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Hosts were very nice, and very helpful getting me set up for skiing on the hill. The location is pretty hard to beat as you are right on the hill. Breakfast was ideal before skiing. All in all it was a great stay.

Absolutely loved this place, room was an excellent size loads of room best size I've ever had in Japan. The outdoor onsen was breathtaking when it snowed and every thing you needed was right there. Only thing was its a bit of a trek up to the main area restaurants etc but the hotel staff dropped us up at a restaurant for dinner we just stroled back down after and got very drunk in the karaoke room lol

Tombi Lodge - Vacation STAY 14464v offers accommodations in Iiyama, 20 miles from Suzaka Zoo and 20 miles from Zenkoji Temple. Clean, well equipped accomodation. Heated flooring. Walking distance to ski lifts. Parking included with lodge. Host was very attentive and welcoming.
