Santa Croce Boutique Hotel is located in the Santa Croce district of Venice, and is a 10-minute walk from both Venice Santa Lucia Train Station and Rialto Bridge. First of all the staff was really excellent- always friendly and helpful. Property itself was well located in a fairly quiet district with still plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and all the tourist attractions within a walking distance. Being pleasantly close to railway and bus station made the arrival and departure convenient. Breakfast in the hotel was great- not maybe the widest variety of food I have seen, but everything was fresh and tasty and I did not miss a thing. I especially liked that warm egg dishes were not prepared in advance and kept warm as it mostly happens in hotels, but instead were made freshly when ordered. Beds and pillows were comfy, even for the 3rd person in the room. In most cases there is a very uncomfortable couch for the extra person, but not in this hotel- at least the room we stayed in I would not doubt to recommend for 3 visitors.

We booked the gran canal facing suite. Really nice large room with terrific views. And the staff were crazy accommodating and nice. And helped with restaurants and what to do to get around.
