Situated within the Punta Milocca district in Siracusa, Aqua Suites Doria has air conditioning, a patio, and garden views. In the words of our teenage son: “This place is so cool!” Now if a grumpy teen calls something his parents picked out “cool”, you know you struck gold, right? The villa is simply palatial, beyond perfect for a big company (we were 7 people, two families with kids), with sizable rooms, plenty of bathrooms, two kitchens (one of them outside, and with a huge barbecue grill to boot), a well equipped laundry room, all the amenities and appliances one needs (and so much more) and a very helpful and super welcoming host who catered to our every need. The pool was a great advantage, too: the kids absolutely loved it, especially when they spotted a flat screen TV on one of the patio walls and realized they could be watching the Euro 2024 final outside while at the same time luxuriating in the pool (which is exactly what we did, by the way). The only drawback of this place is that it is so comfortable you don’t ever even want to step outside and see what’s around. It took us two days to get off our chez lounges by the pool and visit Syracuse (spoiler alert: the city is impressive, but we still longed to come back to the villa as fast as we could).

Located in Siracusa, near Spiaggia Fanusa - Sbocchi 2-3-4 and Arenella Beach, Doria Apartment is a recently renovated property, featuring, a garden and barbecue facilities. Kind host, cozy, well equipped, clear accomodation, comfortable beds, 2 terraces, the beach is so close.

Featuring direct access to the sea and a small pebbly beach, Villa Amateia offers self-catering accommodation with a balcony or terrace and views of the Milocca and Milocchino islands. The apartment (Arethusa, one of 4 apartments in Villa Amateia) was really lovely, it was clean and had two bathrooms and two double beds. One en-suite bathroom for the main double bedroom and a second bathroom to be used by the those using the double bed on the mezzanine level above the livingroom. It was really clean and there was plenty of hot water and towels for us to use. The bedroom had a balcony overlooking the wonderful sea and there was a small terrace off the side of the apartment too. The sea is just by the apartment and it was the most incredibly swimming conditions, calm and clear and hot water and there were no one around, we had the sea to ourselves. No other bathers, no boats, no paddle boards etc, it was heaven. Please note that there is no beach (a short stretch of rocks covered in seaweed need to be stepped over to get into the water), but it was easy to get into the sea and we did not miss a sandy beach. It was really quiet and a really lovely place to stay if you just want to relax on a balcony and do some swimming. Truly wonderful views over the sea from the apartment. Concetta, the person we liaised with about the rental, was incredibly helpful before and during our stay, she always responded quickly by WhatsApp and in fluent English so this was really easy. She helped with a taxi and also how to buy bus tickets when we enquired. The key broke in the door one day and she got someone out within hours to fix it with no issues - thank you! You can take a bus (the no 23) into Syracuse for €1.20 for a single and you can buy the tickets online. The bus leaves from a road 10min walk from the department and it took 25mins on the bus. The bus only leaves every 1.5hrs but was always on time so can be relied upon. A taxi to Syracuse costs €40 so the bus is a much cheaper option. There is a small shop (Market Fanusa) 15min walk from the apartment where we were able to buy bread, cheese, salami, loo roll etc.

A nice and we'll furnished apartment inside a farm house. Some very eclectic features . The bedroom is just adequate and the kitchen well equipped . You can make a meal if you want. The owners are very accommodating and extremely quick to communicate. They also spoke good English which was a bonus. Renata the lady is a ceramic artist and the place is full of her work. The basin , the crockery are all her creations. Very privileged to meet her . It is so peaceful and beautiful a place and so close to the sea . A pity we were staying only one night. We booked post 7 pm but we were received well and very professionally. Highly recommended

Located within 200 metres of Spiaggia Fanusa - Sbocchi 2-3-4 and 800 metres of Arenella Beach in Siracusa, Villa Fratelli Vivaldi provides accommodation with seating area and a kitchen. The apartment suits us for the period, we were there for a month, with three small children, I would have added things to the kitchen but we managed, excellent location, there is a stunning beach very close, a restaurant, a perfect beach 10 minutes away, there is also a shower outside which was useful right after the beach The owner answered the problems we had, an excellent team for the place took care of any problem we had, we had a lot of fun,
