In the chic residential Aventino area of Rome, San Anselmo is a 19th-century villa with a garden where breakfast is served when the weather is nice. Very charming hotel on quiet Aventin hill, we enjoyed our stay a lot. The rooms are impeccable clean and the hotel's parking space nearby very convenient for us. We went to the centre either by metro, which is cheap and convenient, or by taxi (we paid approx. EUR 7 to Piazza Venezia or EUR 10 up to Trevi Fountain - but depends also on traffic). Breakfast was sufficient for our needs and coffee as expected to be in Italy. Friendly staff!

Located 1969 feet from the Testaccio area and a short walk across the Tiber River to the Trastevere area, Hotel Major Aventinus offers rooms with views of the garden or street. It was a very pleasant stay. The area and the hotel itself are very nice and one feels really safe. Beautiful area and quiet as well. The people who run the place are very kind and friendly. Very clean and well managed hotel. The breakfast was pretty decent and well worth it.

Located on the Aventino, one of Rome's 7 hills, Santa Prisca is 10 minutes' walk from FAO headquarters and 1312 feet from Piramide Metro Station. Parking and internet are free. The breakfast was very tasty and in abundance. The location was perfect for visiting, close to Circus Maximus and Colloseum and also to the Piraminde Metro Station.

In the center of Rome, Hotel Aventino is located on the quiet Aventine Hill, a 10-minute walk from Circo Massimo Metro. It features elegant rooms and free WiFi throughout. The staff was unbelievable. They let us eat takeout pizza in the breakfast area, even with access to plates, silverware, micro. There are a lot of stairs, but there is an elevator. It is close to EVERYTHING in Rome (15 minutes walk). Super quiet area.

The design hotel Abitart is located in the heart of the Ostiense neighborhood, close to Ostiense Railway and Metro Station, which provides quick access to all of Rome, including Fiumicino Airport. This hotel was great in every aspect!! Room was large and bright, very clean and quiet which was nice after a long day of sightseeing around Rome. The breakfast at the hotel was great, lots of choose from and the setting is really relaxing where you can enjoy a nice breakfast before heading out for the day!! Great restaurants and cafes very close to the hotel (77 Caffe is fantastic and the one beside the hotel and directly across are great as well). Gelato at the corner is the best ever!! We would definitely stay here again when in Rome!!

Located conveniently in the Aventino Piramide district of Rome, Sonder Testaccio is located a 14-minute walk from Roma Trastevere Train Station, 1.4 miles from Roman Forum and 1.6 miles from Palazzo... Incredibly friendly staff! Beautiful hotel and food! Exceptional location!

Sourire Hotel offers accommodations centrally located in Rome, just a 14-minute walk from the Coliseum. It features free WiFi throughout and air-conditioned rooms. Friendly staff, good location. It takes around 10 minutes to walk into collesium which made it perfect spot to start my journey. I rested well as it was quiet and breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend.
