Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk. Set in a beautiful traditional Haveli right in the centre of old town Udaipur (excellent location.) The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming and Sunil was an excellent host giving good advice around local events. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended from four nights to eight nights in two different rooms (both rooms were lovely but if you have the budget I highly recommend going for the suite!)

Featuring a terrace and a bar, Hotel Casa by the lake is located in Udaipur, 600 metres from City Palace of Udaipur and 300 metres from Jagdish temple. From coming to the hotel,Mr Manoj helped me out and helped in the check-in process. The roof top view is amazing ,you can sit ,relax and enjoy the beautiful view.Gives the view of amazing. There is ample of space on rooftop and the restaurant for friends and family to be comfortable and enjoy the food.Staff behaviour was nice and were very cooperative.

Conveniently set in the Lal Ghat district of Udaipur, Little Peepal House is located 300 metres from Jagdish temple, 400 metres from Bagore ki Haveli and less than 1 km from City Palace of Udaipur. I spent 2 nights in this hotel were everything was absolutely perfect. The rooms were clean, the owner of the hotel is a very helpful and deeply human person and we enjoyed a lot the diner at the rooftop restaurant of the hotel. By the way, the view is absolutely amazing right there. The location was also perfect, near everything you must see in Udaipur. Bonus, the wifi was not working well the first night, so the owner offered to move us to another room where the wifi was working perfectly, while kindly upgrading us to a magnificent suite. I recommend a 100% this hotel !

Kankarwa Haveli is located on the eastern banks of the Lake Pichola and 300 metres from Jagdish temple. It is an old mansion, 17TH century Haveli which is the urban house for the Kankarwa Family. The location and facilities are excellent. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The hotel has set up systems that make it very easy for guests to feel at home in Udaipur and feel comfortable at this Haveli.

Situated on the eastern banks of the famous Lake Pichola and the Lal Ghat Road sits Jagat Niwas Palace, an early 17th century haveli (mansion) featuring traditional Mewar architecture. The staff and the view, in that order, make this a most pleasant and romantic stay. The room and facilities (incl hot water) were perfect (thank you for allowing us access to the room earlier than permitted) The restaurant staff, food, and view will be a memory we will preserve. The best hotel in Udaipur.

A 5-minute walk from Udaipur’s famous City Palace and Jagdish Temple, Jaiwana Haveli was once the private residence of the Thakur of Jaiwana. Free WiFi access is available. The view from the rooftbar is amazing. The stuff was super helpful and kind and even upgraded our room to have a better view.
