The staff are lovely, the facilities clean, and the food is delicious. I actually ate lunch and dinner there several times because the food was safe and always of the highest quality. The room was large, as was the bathroom, and overall the hotel exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay there again.

Located barely 4-minute from Panjim Bus Station and 1 km from Panjim Market, Hospedaria Abrigo De Botelho offers elegantly designed cozy accommodations. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the... I have no words for this stay, but I will try to find! We were given a beautiful and really big room with colonial furniture and a small balcony with garden view and a lovely rocking chair. Everything in the room was well thought of (comfortable bed, fridge with cool water, fan, air condition, base for two suitcases to rest, a very big wardrobe, a vanity table, good quality toiletries, even toothpaste and toothbrushes). The owner has very carefully selected the furniture (some belonged to his family as he shared with us) and really cares for the house (deliberately I call it house and not guest house) and for his guests. The couple who owns Hospedaria is so attentive with every little detail and always listens and tries to help with everything (tips for transport, money exchange, covid test, taxi, beaches to visit). The food offered for breakfast is based on local recipes and there is variety that satisfies all requirements and preferences (the garden is lovely for breakfast, but the dining room is also very cosy with paintings of local artists and there is even an old sewing machine made into table). Cleanliness was immaculate all over Hospedaria Abrigo de Botelho and the location is absolutely charming. Lots of restaurants, shops, churches nearby, so close to the centre, but calm during night and generally a very vibrant and colourful neighbourhood to stay.

After roaming the entire fontainhas area, we realized we are staying in the best spot of fontainhas. Really good, high rated eatery is just downstairs. Outa Aunty, the host, is an amazing person. She made us feel like we were at home. Check-in, check-out was made hassle-free by her. We literally modified the plans to extend our stay here, the place was that cozy. I can keep going on & on 😅 The gist is, just go for the place. You will have an amazing stay there. The most beautiful house in fontainhas is this one.
