Great location, there was lots of bars and restaurants within waking distance and only a 10 min drive from the old town. There are lots of pool to choose from including an adult only pool. The view from the balcony was one of the best we’ve ever had and we loved the pizzas at the On The Rocks Bar!

Quiet location outside of the old town but a short bus or taxi ride for sight seeing.
The breakfast buffet was incredible and the freshly made omelettes were so tasty! Gluten free selection was a little limited but there was GF bread and delicious filled GF brioche or muffins.
The pool at the Palm got busy so we used the rooftop pool at the neighbouring hotel. It was clean, had the most amazing views and such friendly staff.

Dubrovnik Old Town is spectacular, but terribly overcrowded, hot, and unbelievably expensive. EUR 35 just to walk the walls of the Old Town; EUR 25 for the 4-minute cable-car ride; and restaurants and shops very overpriced (and this is after visiting Venice, where we expected things to be expensive but in the end weren't so bad). On our last day we escaped to Dubrovnik's Lapad peninsula, which was gloriously green, cool, relaxing, with great swimming and better (and cheaper) restaurants.

Dubrovnik is really beautiful and has the perfect balance of opportunities for activity and for relaxation. The Old Town was very busy, we found it best to visit early in the morning before the crowds arrive (largely arriving from cruise ships). Some highlights for us was getting the cable car to see the views of the town, the old town walk, visiting various beaches near Babin Kuk/Lapad! We visited in May and the weather was perfect!

Dubrovnik is an ideal location just for itself but also as a base to explore neighboring Montenegro and Bosnia. The city is beautiful with it's historic sites and cobbled alleyways. Good lodging(Apartment Ana) and restaurants( The Arsenal) abound. Do the City Walls tour and wander to find the Buza bars. There will be crowds in summer but just take a deep breath and with patience it's enjoyable.

Went in May on an overnight trip. Was busy but not overwhelming. Had a great walk round the walls stopping for coffee with a great view. Sunset cruise was fabulous, lots of choice for eating - had dinner in the square down by the old dock.

Lovely clean city. Facilities for visitors were excellent. Some lovely excursions and activities.. a walking tour is a must and also we did a sunset boat trip which was amazing. The people were incredibly friendly and helpful everywhere we went. Nice food....pricy in the old town but good quality and worth the money because of ambiance etc.
In May 2024, when we were there, it was very busy but not mobbed and the weather was perfect. Tour guides described June, July and August as crazy because of the heat, the crowds and the passengers from the cruise ships which overwhelm the city. Dubrovnik has a population of about 42,000 people and more than 3 million visitors . However there are great efforts being made to maintain Dubrovnik as a 'place' and not a 'product'. I'd highly recommend a visit in the low season.
Be warned....lots of steps in the old town.....I counted 130 to get from the road down to the old town main street. So bionic knees are a must!!!!

- The room is comfortable and big enough but the sea view from our room was not full because there is a garden in front of the room.
- The breakfast was excellent. You can find everything without paying extra, in the breakfast (even Prosecco and fresh orange juice)
- The location is easy to acces the old town. The bus number 6's first stop is in front of the hotel and you can reach old town in 15 minutes for 12 kuna (1,5 EUR)
- The beach is very well to swim and the open air pool's view was very good

The location is great, it is between the new town and the old town, easy to go anywhere. We spent 3 nights here, and it is the best option to explore Dubrovnik, if you like relaxing trip. (One day old town, one day new town, one day lokrum island.)

This is a truly amazing 5 star hotel. We stayed 4 nights in July and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed by the pool all day and enjoyed waiter/waitress service, fresh towels, piped music and great views out to sea of boats passing by. Breakfast was amazing, great choice and you could tell it was a Michelin starred chef who prepared the fresh hot food. Beautiful garden areas to sit and relax. Make sure you take photos from the top of the property at night with it all lit up. We highly recommend the Palace Natali.
The hotel is clean and lovely, there is a nice balcony with beautiful view. Marko (the owner of the hotel) was super nice, he gave us a lot helps and tips for traveling around Dubrovnik. There are also towers provided for go to beach. And some resturant we went around the area are much better than those in old town.
If you travel in 2 ppl, just take a uber, the price are almost same comparing with airport shuttle + bus, and save a lot of times.

We were in room 721. This room probably has the best view in the hotel. I booked it specifically for that reason. The view was worth the nearly $600 per night. Unobstructed view of old town with beautiful sunrise and sunset lighting. The location was perfect for short walk to the east end of old town. Buffet breakfast was sumptuous. Overall service was five star. As a world-class traveler, this is one of the favorite spaces we’ve ever occupied.
This small hotel (only 6 rooms) was a hidden oasis just 2min walk from one of the main old town entrances. From the private gardens you can also glimpse the water and it is also only a short walk to a little swimming spot with picturesque bars. The lovely staff were friendly, the room was 5 star newly renovated luxury and the breakfast was thoughtfully put together. If I ever make it back to Dubrovnik this is where I will stay!
Amazing hotel! Karla (the host) was brilliant, very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. The hotel room was very modern and clean, with luxury toiletries. Hotel is right in the centre of Old Town so everything was on our doorstep. Less than 5 min walk to the entrance for the City Walls. Hotel is in a great location with views of the water and sunset. Pool area has lots of lounge chairs. Bar at pool is good (but you need to go up and order at bar, no waiters serving to lounge chairs). Bus to Old Town Dubrovnik right from front of hotel. Rooms are nice though furniture choice not as good (furniture is low to ground, no drawers or shelves for clothes). Housekeeping staff excellent.
The location was perfect in terms of walking to and from the Old Town of Dubrovnik. We had no issue finding the hotel coming back at night and felt completely safe. It might be hard to find parking but we did not have or need one of those. The Hotel was charming with grapes growing overhead and many of the items at breakfast were homemade. The rooms were spacious and we not issue with the wifi.
Everything about this hotel was 5 star. The rooms were very large and comfortable with lovely decor, the staff were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. The facilities were top notch and it was well located having panoramic bechfront views and with an easy walk into the old town. Being off season we got extremely good value for money as the room rate was very reasonable.
My fiancé and I stayed here after we had already had our fill of Old Town Dubrovnik, where we stayed for a few nights. The property of this hotel is beautiful and the staff are extremely accommodating. We also enjoyed the location of this hotel, since you can walk along the paseo all the way to a strip of restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here!
The hotel is well placed, close to the Dubrovnik port area, 40 min by foot to the old town and a few minutes to the bus station to the old town. Room was big, clean and confortable. The hôtel has a garage parking which is a big plus. The staff is very friendly, we felt welcome and taking care of.
Hotel Stari Grad is in the old town of Dubrovnik, which meant we saw the old town at sunrise and sunset. So much better than staying outside. This is a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff were always attentive and the breakfast are amazing. There is a wonderful view from the roof top dining area.
