With views across York’s medieval walls, Grays Court Hotel is a beautiful historic house with leafy gardens, an intimate restaurant and free Wi-Fi. We loved everything about the property. It was the best stay we’ve had, the location, the staff were amazing and so attentive and kind. The food was exceptional and we will definitely be back. I can honestly say it was one of the best places we’ve stayed and would highly recommend to our friends.

Situated conveniently in York, Malmaison York offers air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 4-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. Location, location, location! We opted for a Club Deluxe room - it was fabulous, like a suite! We overlooked the York city walls, the bathroom was amazing with bath, walk in shower, huge sink & separate toilet. Coffee machine, kettle etc, iron & ironing board. We loved the bar too - fabulous staff all round! We opted for the eco clean - so no cleaners in for our stay - we were happy with that and you get a £7.50 voucher per person per night for a drink in the bar as a thank you. We could also get extra teabags etc from reception - in fact they delivered them to us!

Featuring a fitness centre, a terrace as well as a bar, Moxy York is located in the centre of York, 700 metres from York Minster. The hotel felt modern and had unexpected amenities like a fitness studio, snooker table, board games - they were just the ones I spotted! We went to a wedding at Gray's Court and it was the perfect location - we were only a 5 minute walk away. Most importantly the bed was comfy, and the room was immaculate and quiet. Really glad I booked there!

The Fort York is a city centre boutique stay nestled off the medieval Stonegate in the heart of York. It offers a mixture of themed private rooms, 8 bed family rooms and showering facilities. Water , Bed , Heater , Room space , everything is perfect.

Located overlooking the city’s Roman walls, The Hampton by Hilton York is opposite York Railway Station and a 10-minute walk from the historic centre. Great location, quiet. Good value for money, the breakfast included is simple but nice. Big room very spacious, nice and clean bathroom. Friendly staffs, love it.

Situated on the banks of the River Ouse, The Queens Hotel is ideally located for the many shops, restaurants and bars that the centre of York has to offer. Room seemed newly redecorated - clean and beautiful! Very quiet courtyard room. Staff was helpful getting us breakfast to go when all the breakfast times were already full. Very tasteful and pretty inside. Very comfortable bed.
