The Albyn Townhouse is a generous 4-story, 19th-century traditional town house. Such a lovely house, on a great location (not far from the city centre, in a quiet neighbourhood)! Lydie, the host, is definitely one of the finest hosts I've ever had. It was a beautiful room, with great beds (rather hard matrasses and firm pillows, which we prefer) and a clean and modern bathroom. On one day we booked an extra breakfast: it was everything a breakfast needs to be, yummie and brought to us with love. If ever in Edinburgh again, we would surely choose Albyn Townhouse again!!!

A family-run property set in a Victorian house, Castle Park Guest House is located 0.4 miles from the Bruntsfield Links Park and 1 mile from The National Museum of Scotland. The hosts seem to enjoy having guests and made us feel welcome. The hot breakfast was amazing with plenty of vegetarian options. We were given restaurant advice and driving advice for our onward trip that were appreciated. The rooms are pristine, modern, with excellent mattresses and linens. You are provided tea and coffee service in the room. Nothing has been forgotten. There is easy walking and bus access. We were able to stay 2 nights and will definitely return if we're in the area.

Very comfy and cleaned. The location was another positive point. The owner was responsive to any questions I had and very helpful in general. Around the place are good restaurants, coffee shops, and supermarkets.
