Black Ivy is just a 15-minute walk from Edinburgh city centre and features a lively bar which overlooks Bruntsfield Links park. It was so cozy and cute. There was a really comfy bed with lots of pillows and a fun bar/restaurant attached.

The The Bruntsfield Hotel is a townhouse hotel just a short walk from Edinburgh city centre, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The room we got (for 3 people) was huge - including bathroom, clean, and comfy, with complimentary water and chocolates waiting for us every day. And the staff (reception, cleaning lady, restaurant & breakfast waiters) were so kind and friendly, it was a pleasure talking to them. Breakfast was very good, with warm courses being prepped especially for you (if you order from the menu - still free of charge, of course), and so was dinner in the hotel's restaurant, albeit a tad pricey, and they already include a 12% tip in the final bill, so check it before offering your usual tip. The kids' menu is good value for money though.

The Albyn Townhouse is a generous 4-storey, 19th-century traditional town house. Beautiful historic property in a great neighborhood. Wonderful cafes and shops nearby and the Royal Mile was in walking distance. Lydie was a fantastic host. Highly recommended.

A family-run property set in a Victorian house, Castle Park Guest House is located 0.4 miles from the Bruntsfield Links Park and 1 mile from The National Museum of Scotland. Perfect place to stay. David and Ian were great hosts and felt right at home. The breakfasts were home cooked and the quite the value. Rooms were clean and nice. Really made our trip in Edinburgh staying here. Highly recommended booking here!

Very comfy and cleaned. The location was another positive point. The owner was responsive to any questions I had and very helpful in general. Around the place are good restaurants, coffee shops, and supermarkets.
