The location is dreamy: the hotel is located inside an ancient archbishop's palace, just next to the Basilica of Saints Nazarius and Celsus, inside the mighty Carcassonne walls. The rooms was beautiful, with large windows, with a view to the city and the ramparts, with a little balcony and an entrance into the garden.

The hotel is situated right in the centre of the medieval city. It is traditional and charming in decor. I particularly enjoyed the garden, where we had some local wine every evening before going out for dinner. It is a tranquil area, quiet amongst the hustle of the narrow streets in the city. The receptionists were always so helpful and polite and gave us good recommendations for restaurants and transport for excursions. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and the staff quick to assist and replenish the buffet. A lovely, charming stay!

Featuring mountain views, Le Donjon de Lily - Cœur de La Cité Médiévale features accommodation with balcony, around 50 km from Termes Chateau. We thought we were in a staffed hotel however it was an apartment with a key lock. At first that was a surprise as we thought otherwise yet our wonderful taxi driver called and found out it was separate. We walked into the cite’ via the drawbridge and it was easy to find. It was on the second floor of winding stone steps however once inside the balcony was excellent and open shower perfect all was new and high quality excellent location for being inside the core at night good restaurants and very quiet. The management was very responsive before during and after via online for arranging a taxi pick up at the train station and key info. They also booked the same taxi driver when we asked for our return two days later. So ended up being stress free once we figured it out. Very very restful in between activities.

Amazing place for few days , Lesa and Leonnie very close and helpful for the guests. Accommodation tip top , just fine ! Perfect journey there , will come back for sure !

A recently renovated property, Carcassonne mon amour is set in Carcassonne near Comtal Castle, Memorial House (Maison des Memoires) and Carcassonne Cathedral. The location was amazing, inside the castle!. And everything inside was so clean and modern and welcoming. We felt right at home. So many cute aspects that were in theme with Carcasonne. Highly recommend!
