I mean, how hard can it be to have a shower that is easy and intuitive to use, that provides both hand and top showerheads, that reacts quickly to changes in temperature and that has a convenient shelf for shampoo? And yet these guys have it, and almost any other hotel I've been too - doesn't. Kudos. Other than that, it's a regular chain hotel, although the loby is better decorated than other hotels of this chain.

Hôtel Restaurant Spa Le Sauvage, formerly the Clarisses Monestary, is located in the historic district of Besançon, 500 metres from the citadel's ancient walls. Everything was lovely. We didn't eat there so can't say anything about food/restaurant. Room, spa, parking all very good.

This hotel is set in the heart of Besançon, just 700 metres from the banks of the Doubs River. Guests have free Wi-Fi internet access and are invited to relax in the hotel's lounge bar. Hotel staff was really kind. Breakfast was really nice with fresh orange juice and bakery. Parking is nearby and they accompany you after unloading your baggage. Thanks again for everything!

Located in Besançon, Hotel Vauban a 2-minute walk from the Museum of Fine Arts and an 18-minute walk from the Citadel of Besançon. It offers free internet access, a 24-hour front desk and a terrace. Breakfast was fine always limited for me as a vegan especially in France so have to accept certain limitations The hotel is right on the water front with public parking nearby with helpful directions from the staff the patron. Small and bijou it is a little gem in the heart of Besancon old town

Hotel Régina is situated conveniently in Besançon, and features a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. A great place tucked away in the centre of town, lovely garden to sit in, clean room, nice little balcony. Slippers and dressing gown were a nice little touch.

Lovely spacious apartment, the sauna was icing on the top. It had everything we needed and was a great place to relax or use as a base for sightseeing.
