Hotel Orfila is situated in Madrid’s Chamberí District, less than 200 metres from Alonso Martinez and Colón Metro Stations. Set in a 19th-century palace, it features a restaurant and tea room. We loved the hotel, the area, the room and the staff was super kind!! We would definitely come back!!!!

We loved the decor, the focus on details and the outside grounds (despite the cool weather during our visit). The bar (with local cocktail) was a highlight. We had a nightcap each night of our stay. The breakfast room (library) was amazing too.

Very convenient location. Just in front of Plaza Alonso Martínez and Metro Station (Lines: 4, 5 & 10). Possible to stop cars in front for a few minutes. Many good restaurants within 5-minute-walk distance. I enjoyed a high quality of stay in this hotel. Kind and helpful hotel staff. Cozy room, comfortable beds, good bathroom, nice view (room 601), very good breakfast. For early start in weekend sandwiches are served to take out. Busy streets outside, but no noise by perfect soundproof windows.
