This historic hotel was built in 1264 and is located at the Markusturm tower in medieval Rothenburg. It features a traditional restaurant and free Wi-Fi internet throughout the hotel. This is a wonderful side trip into another era. The town is beyond charming and this hotel pulls out all the stops. Terrific location, staff, beds, a person who parked our car and delivered it in the morning…all this before we get to the restaurant. OMG best duck ever. Excellent food, and breakfast— which I do not eat— made me eat it. What is not to love?!?!

A beautiful place to stay! We had a lovely time here. The room was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were wonderful. We were even treated to a mini sparkling wine to celebrate our honeymoon! So sweet :)

This hotel offers a restaurant, a Baroque garden and free internet in all rooms. It is located in one of Rothenburg’s oldest buildings and stands right across from the Franciscan Monastery. From check in to check out, we had an exceptional experience. Our travels led us to arrive later than expected, but the person managing the desk stayed late to accommodate our later arrival and even made us some super yummy bites for dinner because there weren't any restaurants open for dinner at that time. Every detail was perfect! It was super clean, and comfortable and the breakfast was DELICIOUS!

Boasting unique views of the Tauber river valley, this charming hotel in Rothenburg offers a peaceful break amid the medieval architecture and scenic landscapes of the Middle Franconia region. Beautiful historical place with different than usual rooms that exceeded our expectations. It's location is great, very close to the center but very quiet at the same time. Breakfast was lovely with very nice green scenery. There is also a game room the kids really liked! Definitely a place to revisit
