This historic hotel was built in 1264 and is located at the Markusturm tower in medieval Rothenburg. It features a traditional restaurant and free Wi-Fi internet throughout the hotel. We loved everything about this property. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome throughout our whole stay. We stayed in the family room and it was modern, spacious, clean and really comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of foods from sweet to savory. We ate dinner there one night (reservation recommended) and it was the best dinner we had our whole vacation. While my whole family loved their meal; I had the salmon and it was the winner. It was best salmon I’ve ever had. The location is exceptional. You are walking distance to anything you’d like to see. Overall, we loved our stay here and would like to return in the summer. I would absolutely stay here again.

A beautiful place to stay! We had a lovely time here. The room was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were wonderful. We were even treated to a mini sparkling wine to celebrate our honeymoon! So sweet :)

Boasting unique views of the Tauber river valley, this charming hotel in Rothenburg offers a peaceful break amid the mediaeval architecture and scenic landscapes of the Middle Franconia region. Beautiful historical place with different than usual rooms that exceeded our expectations. It's location is great, very close to the center but very quiet at the same time. Breakfast was lovely with very nice green scenery. There is also a game room the kids really liked! Definitely a place to revisit
