Located in the centre of Zermatt, Backstage Boutique SPA Hotel offers uniquely furnished rooms with open fireplaces and free WiFi. Opened in December 2010, it features a spa area. Fab cozy hotel central, clean and the staff were very very nice.. Would definitely stay here again when in Zermatt..

Featuring a garden, a terrace as well as a bar, Hotel Tannenhof is located in the centre of Zermatt, 600 metres from Zermatt Railway Station. Zermatt is a place where you can get almost everywhere by walking, the hotel is 400m away from the train station and thats really good. The hotel is beautiful, the receptionist was super nice and kind with us, the bed was comfortable, the restaurant zone of the hotel is beautiful and elegant. (also the room had a tiny fridge)

In a quiet location of Zermatt, Hotel Romantica offers a garden, free WiFi, and rooms with flat-screen cable TV. Thor and Michele are incredibly welcoming hosts; we'd jump at the chance to visit again. The couple, along with their charming cat and dog, create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior is not only cozy but also beautifully adorned for the Christmas season. Breakfast, reminiscent of a hotel spread, featured everything one could desire: juices, coffee, hot chocolate, and a variety of hot courses like bacon, sausages, scrambled and boiled eggs. The selection extended to fresh fruits, breads, and delectable croissants, often served warm from the oven. Conveniently located in the city center, the hotel offers easy access to numerous restaurants and bars. Thor's recommendations led us to some fantastic spots. The proximity to all three gondolas, just a 10-minute walk away, makes the hotel an ideal hub. While city taxis and shuttle buses are available, we preferred leisurely strolls through streets lined with shops and cafes. Despite a late arrival, Thor provided detailed instructions for obtaining the keys and ensured a smooth check-in. His thoughtful gesture of complimentary pick-up and drop-off at the railway station made the stay even more enjoyable, sparing us from lugging our luggage.

Situated on a rock, 45 metres above the roofs of central Zermatt, guests access The Omnia via a tunnel leading to an elevator, which brings them right into the lobby. The location was amazing as were the facilities. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL! The food was amazing!

First opened in 1879, Grand Hotel Zermatterhof is a traditional luxury establishment in a central but peaceful location in Zermatt. the location is central and convenient. this is an historic hotel but looks good and very nice - outside and inside. we have been in various luxury hotels and here you get the grand hotel experience. excellent staff. excellent pianist in the lobby. big nice spa. the breakfast hall is a masterpiece. we enjoyed both their restaurants, especially the fondue. they have an horse and carriage. from our room we saw the matterhorn. extremely recommended.

Unique Hotel Post is situated in the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the train station. There is free Wi-Fi in the rooms. Some of the rooms boast views of the Matterhorn. A member of “Leading Hotels of the World”, the 5-star Mont Cervin Palace was opened in 1851. It is situated in the heart of Zermatt, 300 metres from the train station. Excellent location, true 5 star property with very helpful and friendly staff that went out of their way to address any issue especially COVid related. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The gym and sauna facilities were outstanding. The grill Restsurant on property was superb and the bar with live music was very relaxing.

As the first hotel ever built in Zermatt, the Monte Rosa is located right in the centre of the village and 400 metres from Zermatt Train Station. From pickup to drop off to yrain station the service was exceptional. They even provided box lunch on last day when we needed to leave early in the morning. Room was comfortable with balcony facing matterhorn.

Situated in the Bahnhofstrasse in car-free Zermatt, the Hotel Schweizerhof offers you three restaurant, concierge service and free WiFi. The staff was great, they really do try their best! Honestly, absolutely everyone was great, reception, breakfast, restaurants. I came many times to the main Resto and it was always an excellent experience, I love the atmosphere, the design,and the food is of course also delicious. It was first stay at the hotel and I found it great, super cosy room (the bed was fantastically comfortable) ! If you come with a small child, mind the fact that the music in the main restaurant and bar is very loud. I never really noticed until I came with a three month old baby, ha! But that's what makes the place feel so fun for adults!
