The Hotel Acquarello is located in the Old Town of Lugano, right at the lower terminus of the funicular connecting the centre to the main railway station. Big room with fridge, coffee maker, TV and AC. To the reception, Sabrina was very nice and helpful. Good breakfast. Everything was perfect, for this reason I'm second time in this hotel.

The Hotel de la Paix is near Lake Lugano, about 1 km from the city centre and the train station. It offers an out-door pool, free WiFi, free parking on site and free minibar use. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices and good quality.

San Carlo Suite is situated in the Lugano City-Centre district in Lugano, 1.2 km from Exhibition Center Lugano. Each room is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. TOP TOP TOP Location! 2 minutes from the lake and the center, 5 minutes from public parking Motta (I left the car there). Staff was very polite. Room was awesome, clean, comfortable, bathroom was superb, wifi was excellent, check-in/out was easy. All was perfect. Thank you!

Beautiful well maintained gardens that we and the kids enjoyed. I would have stayed longer! Location is perfect and the rooms are both modern and historic. The balcony on the streets are a nice extra. Breakfast had many options and servers were friendly.
