The staff is probably the best I’ve ever seen, and I travel for business all the time. They’re genuinely kind people who will do everything to help make your stay the best it can be. the breakfast and the restaurant in general is 10 out of 10 Michelin guide recommended - the selection is just everything you can ever wish for. The room was clean, comfortable, regularly maintained. Pick Luganodante, you won’t be disappointed.

In the center of Lugano, Hotel Pestalozzi is only 500 ft from the shores of Lake Lugano. Free Wi-Fi is available. Great location, close to the attractions of Lugano yet in a quiet spot. Buses right outside door, walking distance to bars and restaurants and waterfront. Beautiful streets around. Reception staff were very helpful at all times with great English skills available and ready advice about accessing attractions. But were also especially helpful in arranging an appointment for timely medical treatment. Meals were great and all staff were friendly and accommodating. Definitely would stay there again! Top marks!

The Hotel Acquarello is located in the Old Town of Lugano, right at the lower terminus of the funicular connecting the center to the main railway station. Delicious breakfast; super friendly staff, very well located and clean! Everything was perfect there!

TOP TOP TOP Location! 2 minutes from the lake and the center, 5 minutes from public parking Motta (I left the car there). Staff was very polite. Room was awesome, clean, comfortable, bathroom was superb, wifi was excellent, check-in/out was easy. All was perfect. Thank you!

Right on the shore of Lake Lugano, the 3-star superior International au Lac Historic Lakeside Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden with an outdoor pool, free WiFi, and a lobby bar. Beautiful well maintained gardens that we and the kids enjoyed. I would have stayed longer! Location is perfect and the rooms are both modern and historic. The balcony on the streets are a nice extra. Breakfast had many options and servers were friendly.
