The architecture attracted me to make the reservation and it lived up to expectations. FYI, i dont know Basel very well and have not stayed overnight before. It is a good location and easy to get to the concert hall etc. The courtyard is extra special and will be a key reason to return if/when th opportunity arises in the future.

The staff especially Ronan was fantastic. We were treated wonderfully and would highly recommend this hotel! Very enjoyable stay.

Set in Basel, 400 metres from Jewish Museum of Basel, SET Hotel.Residence by Teufelhof Basel offers accommodation with free bikes, private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Great location right beside most museums. Hotel rooms are great, very big, and spacious. It also has a fridge to store food and tap for water. The hotel has an option to take electric bikes and also an electric car you must book in advance. We took.the bikes and cycled to france and germany, which was only about 15 minutes away but a great extra.. Also you get a free basel card when you arrive which includes the bus back to the airport. Also, a handy tip if you're flying, don't pay for the bus into basel your hotel booking reference for any hotel counts as your bus ticket.
