The Hotel zum Hirschen is Salzburgs oldest family-run hotel, conveniently located in the city center and only a few minutes by foot from the historic old town and the train station. The hotel is in a very convenient location, just one block away from the bus and train stations. Additionally, there is a BILLA grocery store and a pharmacy nearby. The city's major attractions are mostly within walking distance; if something is a bit farther away and requires crossing the river, taking a train is also very convenient. The room we booked happened to be one designed for guests with special needs, which was very spacious and equipped with numerous facilities tailored for accessibility. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, complete with a high-quality mattress. Inside the room, everything necessary was provided, including a kettle and some cups. Moreover, special touches were added for guests, such as chocolates featuring the logo of a local souvenir shop. The neighborhood around the hotel was very quiet, ensuring that there were no disturbances to our sleep quality. Overall, it was a very good stay. One more thing, I like the aroma in the room, not too strong but make people calm.

Located on the banks of the Salzach River, Motel One Salzburg Mirabell is a 10-minute walk from Mirabell Palace and a 15-minute walk from Salzburg’s Old Town. Welcoming front desk staff, very nice room with thoughtful amenities and local coffee pods. Excellent black out curtains.

A 20-minute walk from Salzburg's Old Town and only 300 metres from the Main Train Station, the Wyndham Grand Salzburg Conference Centre has a fitness centre, a sauna, and an indoor pool. Nice and clean. Helpful and friendly staff, who did their very best to make our stay very good and enjoyable. Very good breakfast. Parking lot at the hotel.

Levy's Rooms & Breakfast is only a 2-minute walk from Salzburg Main Station. Rooms are nice. Breakfast is amazing! The location is good in terms of being close to the city center but without a great view if this is what you are searching for. Free parking if there is space in front of the hotel. Good prices in their lobby vending machine and trust bar. Overall really great experience because of their friendly and helpful staff. We have only spent one night but would recommend 10/10.

Located directly opposite Salzburg’s main train station, H+ Hotel Salzburg offers a 2-floor fitness and spa area and provides free WiFi access. The hotel was perfect for the accessibility to the train station to move around salezburg . Also, reaching the sightseeing around was so easy by bus. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The Scherer is a traditional, family-run 4-star hotel in a quiet residential area, only a 15-minute walk along the Salzach River from Salzburg’s Old Town. The location was ideal, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was value for money, delicious and constantly replenished. The kitchen and wait staff were patient with all clients and were very accommodating to all needs. The Hotel presented really well. Common areas were very clean.
