The Hotel zum Hirschen is Salzburgs oldest family-run hotel, conveniently located in the city center and only a few minutes by foot from the historic old town and the train station. First when I arrived and went into the room, there was a vacuum cleaner on the floor and room seems not ready to use. I went to reception and the receptionist was very kind and changed my room to another one right away. Staffs were helpful and supportive. Room was spacious, clean, location was good and close to the central station. Good AC, big bathroom.

Nice room in a nice hotel in a great location. As it was 300 mtrs. from the train station, very easy to get to with luggage.

The Scherer is a traditional, family-run 4-star hotel in a quiet residential area, only a 15-minute walk along the Salzach River from Salzburg’s Old Town. Super friendly and understanding stuff! The breakfast was superb, and even when we overslept, they served it to us. Music in the hall is great. Also, when one of us got ill, the prolonged the room for a few hours for free.

Family-run since 100 years, the charming Hotel Hohenstauffen enjoys a quiet location, a leisurely 15-minute walk away from Salzburg's old town. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Me and my family loved the place. Location was very good... close to city center. Parking is at the location.
