Beautiful, clean and well developed place, the drivers seem to be very friendly and thoughtful people on the road, it’s also very safe but driving there was challenging because of the sharp curves and steep slopes.

There is a lot of natural beauty with stunning views of wolk berge mountains near by and the local wood forests. There is a lot to see and do. At Letaba we did a river boat cruise, saw wild animals that were tamed for the film industry (very well looked after) , ate delicious food, had a local coffee and lunch at Krabbefontein and went to see the Debangeni waterfalls. We also did a cheese-making tour where you can sample several cheeses made at the farm and visited the blueberry farm for blueberry pie. A beautiful place with a view is King Walden with a huge luxurious garden. Overall a wonderful destination to visit. Its also a convenient stop over to use to come back to Johannesburg from the Kruger National Park. Also great value for money. A secret gem for sure!

Tzaneen is great for an escape from the noise in the cities. It has a lot of places one can enjoy, from Top restaurants, amazing terraces, amazing views, and the fresh air from the greenery that's surrounding the entire town.
I will recommend this guest house to anyone travelling to Tzaneen. Our hostess Marietjie, went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Always ready to help and very friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was always friendly and always available to assist. Rooms are cleaned daily. I was treated as a queen. I will definitely stay there again. The quite and tranquil surroundings was all I needed to relax. Most relaxing 4 days ever.
My second time here was much better than the first. Stayed in larger rooms a bit further from the main block which was nice. The staff were very friendly and we really appreciated the suggestion to make breakfast packs as we would miss breakfast at the hotel due to an early appointment. The breakfast packs were awesome and dinner the previous was great.
The owner couple are very friendly, they very kinds accommodated our special request. made our works so much easier.
The room are huge, it have three conformable bed, bath and shower, and kitchen with microware too. we feels like other home in Tzaneen.

All in all nothing wrong with the location, and the staff was quite friendly and accommodating.
During load shedding the WiFi would still work, but no lights at all.

The location of the hotel is beautiful. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The staff go out their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We loved the fireplace inside each room and at the eating halls.
Everything was perfect, right from cleanliness to location to service. A special mention of Alistair who was very helpful in whatever we asked for. Strongly recommend this property for those visiting Tzaneen.
Paceful location on the banks of the river, very quiet just the sounds of the birds and the river. Very clean and everything provided for a self catering stay
THE VIEW AT THE DINING HALL WHERE WE HAD OUR BREAKFAST. THE CHALETS WHERE GOOD ALSO. THE PARKING AREA AND SECURITY WAS GOOD ALSO. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS GREAT.
