We needed to be near an aged and frail family member and the location was within walking distance of the individual.
The lady at reception was very obliging when asked for assistance. The first unit reeked of cigarette smoke. She changed units for us immediately.
I wish she had thought of offering us an upgrade to a newer unit.

The bed was comfortable, suitable bedding for the season was supplied. Spacious bathroom. The kitchen was kitted out quite well, it had everything we needed and more.

An excellent stay in a most wonderful location; the unit was fully equipped and the farm, just outside stilbaai, was so peaceful. The self check in was easy and communication slick. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Beautiful beaches and river. Preekstoel beach worth a visit, main beach has blue flag status, the beach next to the harbour is great for kiddies, its shallow.
Most shops and eating places in Stilbaai-Wes (but a short drive away).
We ate at Stables - no frills, just really good food and generous portions!
The feeding of the eels takes place at 11am each day next to the museum in Stilbaai-Wes.
You can snorkel in the fishtraps at low tide, but ask a local for some pointers.
