We stayed above Buccaneers restaurant & sports bar - good food, good vibe and awesome staff.
Whenever we visit the South Coast, we make a point of visiting The Waffle House in Ramsgate (best waffles).
Even though its a bit difficult to get into Margate, we were impressed to see how quickly the municipality is repairing the damage caused to the roads (floods).

The accommodation was great.
The accommodation was great. The location was ideal but Margate is a mess. Vagrants all over and they make you feel unsafe. You do not dare to go for a walk anywhere, especially on the beach. Sorry, that is how i feel. I am 68 and not frail.

The area, the location, the beach. Margate is sooo relaxed, so calm! The beach there is so beautiful and leisurely. Everyone there is laid back. Decent and safe place to take kids and to just sit back and relax.

Margate is a small town, that operates on its own terms. The people are warm and welcoming. When we were there the weather was gloomy and raining, so we never go to truly experience beautiful sunny weather. Restaurants are okay the food is okay not great, however the service is terrible.

Margate is a beautiful holiday spot with good beaches. We had our meals at Margate Hotel. Driving around is easy. Shelly Centre and South Coast Mall are near to satisfy additional needs. One should book book early to get quality accommodation.

Dirty racist Pet Unfriendly unlike anything experienced. Dangerousness drugs available every corner BE PREPARED TO USE 40% OF YOUR MONEY ON TAXI no UBER ALLOWED, ESTIMATE R50/km and every stop additional R60. So a 5km 3 stop trip R350.
EVERYTHING was absolutely amazing, I also misplaced my car keys upon arrival and the way the security staff and hotel staff were so helpful and reassuring that I’d find the key and the car will be safe as long as they’re around just gave me a huge sense of relief. I was so happy with everything, beach view from the room, the spaciousness of the apartment and they have a dishwasher ready for use, including cutlery and crockery. There are also nearby entertainment areas just a walking distance away from the hotel
Dawn was welcoming and the place is having modern furniture. The linen befits a 5*rating. The ocean view is awesome... Wishzd I was on holiday to enjoy the scenery. Parking is free and underground... No worries about hailstorm or whatsoever. The beds are so comfortable.... Above Margate standards. Dawn went an extra mile checking on my health as I got ill during my 3 day stay.
Very neat, spacious and well kept apartment, direct beach access which is amazing if you enjoy early morning walks on the beach. The complex was busy with holiday makers which made it noisy but this was expected especially this time of the year.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will visit again.
Close to the margate maim beach directly opposite Margate pier, nice balcony with braai arra on the balcony, good value for money, host was great, also apartment was ready ealry , we arrived late, host allowed us late chexk out which was great, did not have to rush, everything is close.
Everything. it’s good value for money. same as advertised, even beyond. my family loved it. also, it is close to shopping centres. we had a wonderful stay. I would definitely book again when visiting margate. if you are looking for accommodation around margate, look no further ⭐️
We've never been accomodated at Margate hotel holiday. Nothing I liked since we couldn't find the place. And they were unreachable.
I liked the service of Fahed S from Booking.com who assisted us nicely with alternative accomodation which is St Michael the very beautiful place.

Seebrook apartment 504 was awesome to stay at. It is absolutely clean, comfortable and cozy with an exceptional view of the Margate beach. Will definitely go back and recommend to family and friends.
