We stayed above Buccaneers restaurant & sports bar - good food, good vibe and awesome staff.
Whenever we visit the South Coast, we make a point of visiting The Waffle House in Ramsgate (best waffles).
Even though its a bit difficult to get into Margate, we were impressed to see how quickly the municipality is repairing the damage caused to the roads (floods).

The accommodation was great.
The accommodation was great. The location was ideal but Margate is a mess. Vagrants all over and they make you feel unsafe. You do not dare to go for a walk anywhere, especially on the beach. Sorry, that is how i feel. I am 68 and not frail.

The area, the location, the beach. Margate is sooo relaxed, so calm! The beach there is so beautiful and leisurely. Everyone there is laid back. Decent and safe place to take kids and to just sit back and relax.

Margate is a small town, that operates on its own terms. The people are warm and welcoming. When we were there the weather was gloomy and raining, so we never go to truly experience beautiful sunny weather. Restaurants are okay the food is okay not great, however the service is terrible.

Dirty racist Pet Unfriendly unlike anything experienced. Dangerousness drugs available every corner BE PREPARED TO USE 40% OF YOUR MONEY ON TAXI no UBER ALLOWED, ESTIMATE R50/km and every stop additional R60. So a 5km 3 stop trip R350.
It has all the comforts and cosy-ness of a home and all the luxury of a holiday home with beautiful views of the ocean and lagoon. Its spacious, beds were very comfy, kitchen is fully equipped and outdoor space has a gas braai, dining and lounge space. It has everything you need and more and the location is great as well, literally right on the beach plus close to a range of shops and restaurants. Truly a gem in Uvongo. The host was amazing too.
The place is so warmly and welcoming the staff was very kind and humble, the place is so godly. Belinda is so amazing and her welcome showed us that we booked the best vacation hotel, the rooms were cleaned daily as for breakfast so delicious n healthy. The place exceeded our expectations. My friend n I have found our second home we definitely coming back soon
The place has a lovely view overlooking the beach. There are shops which are walking distance and plenty to choose from. One of the key attraction is being able to sit on the patio and watch the morning sunrise while listening to the ocean waves crashing onto the rocks. The apartment is well equipped for self catering. I'd definitely go back.
Everything. it’s good value for money. same as advertised, even beyond. my family loved it. also, it is close to shopping centres. we had a wonderful stay. I would definitely book again when visiting margate. if you are looking for accommodation around margate, look no further ⭐️
The view was awesome and we had everything we needed for our stay. Mark was super friendly and welcoming. He also gave us some advice and information regarding the popular hot spots around Margate.
We loved the spacious balcony, the private braai area on the stoep, the well equipped kitchen with the washing machine and tumble dryer. Walking distance to the beach. Very affordable.
Everything wa good. And the place is in a quiet place. So it was peaceful. Then I said to my self if go to Margate again surely I will book there again
