We stayed above Buccaneers restaurant & sports bar - good food, good vibe and awesome staff.
Whenever we visit the South Coast, we make a point of visiting The Waffle House in Ramsgate (best waffles).
Even though its a bit difficult to get into Margate, we were impressed to see how quickly the municipality is repairing the damage caused to the roads (floods).

The accommodation was great.
The accommodation was great. The location was ideal but Margate is a mess. Vagrants all over and they make you feel unsafe. You do not dare to go for a walk anywhere, especially on the beach. Sorry, that is how i feel. I am 68 and not frail.

The area, the location, the beach. Margate is sooo relaxed, so calm! The beach there is so beautiful and leisurely. Everyone there is laid back. Decent and safe place to take kids and to just sit back and relax.

Margate is a small town, that operates on its own terms. The people are warm and welcoming. When we were there the weather was gloomy and raining, so we never go to truly experience beautiful sunny weather. Restaurants are okay the food is okay not great, however the service is terrible.

Our stay at Ocean Vibes was truly enjoyable and memorable. The apartment's prime location between Margate and Uvongo offered convenience and easy access to the best of both beaches. The cleanliness of the apartment was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Additionally, the owner's hospitality and attentiveness added to the positive experience. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to accommodate made us feel welcome and appreciated throughout our stay.
The place is so warmly and welcoming the staff was very kind and humble, the place is so godly. Belinda is so amazing and her welcome showed us that we booked the best vacation hotel, the rooms were cleaned daily as for breakfast so delicious n healthy. The place exceeded our expectations. My friend n I have found our second home we definitely coming back soon

Close to the margate maim beach directly opposite Margate pier, nice balcony with braai arra on the balcony, good value for money, host was great, also apartment was ready ealry , we arrived late, host allowed us late chexk out which was great, did not have to rush, everything is close.
Everything. it’s good value for money. same as advertised, even beyond. my family loved it. also, it is close to shopping centres. we had a wonderful stay. I would definitely book again when visiting margate. if you are looking for accommodation around margate, look no further ⭐️
Great location with a breath-taking beach view, house right on the beach. Host advised normally prefers not take bookings less than 48 hours. We made a last minute booking, a night before day of arrival but host accepted our booking and was able to accommodate us.
It's disappointing when a hotel doesn't live up to its star rating. It seems like your experience fell far short of your expectations, and the only redeeming quality was the view. It's frustrating when accommodations don't meet the standards they advertise.
The location is situated on the main road in town, close to the beach and other restaurants. Friendly staff on the first day reception and the dining area staff. Neat sleeping linen.

Everything was alright I really enjoyed my stay over at Margate Beach Lodge I certain my next visit I won’t hesitate to put up as my first option. Tv is the only thing I can ask to be looked at but it was okay just that it was a bit blurry.
I though the location was brilliant for a family that doesn’t want a lot of noise and rUCKUS at the Margate Sands. Uvongo Beach is quieter. Close to Wild Coast Sun for the kids at Wild Waves Water Park. Could easily find myself back here.
