Birchwood Hotel and conference centre is such lovely place to stay, whether with friends or with your family. The best place I have ever been next to Albufera in Portugal. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms with a small fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery and a sitting area all in one room. Bathrooms with both a bath and shower.
The courtesy of ALL STAFF MEMBERS from the drivers to the janitor to the gym staff to the restaurant, oh people are just so warm and so helpful man.
There are shops and restaurants just outside the rear gate and the East Rand shopping mall is only about 3 or 4 minutes walk. SAFE neighborhood.

Elegant location. It was so cool and calm. movement there was average. i just booked the place not even knowing the location. i dont regret the place. its close to the airport close to all the good hotels and also close the mall which makes it easy and cheap to move around.

We visited Mandela Museum house in Soweto and Johannesburg city.
We had planned our holiday during summer for maximum site visits, unfortunately the weather was not on our side, it was mostly cold with heavy rain, thunder and lightning.

From the day we checked in I and family saw that we fid not make a wrong choice at all. Everything was sparkling. The management was vey helpful and always ready to assist clients. The place is sparkling clean. The garden and facilities are just marvelous to say the least. A worthy place to be at.
The location could not be better. Very close to where we wanted to be for the weekend. The suburb was quiet, clean felt and safe. The kindness and hospitality of the host was amazing with no issues. The rules were very reasonable, straightforward, clear and if we had any questions, the host was very friendly and happy to assist. Would definitely recommend and would probably stay there again if we need to be in the area in the future. The room was immaculate and had a truly beautiful creative sense to it which was aesthetically pleasing.
Everything, the reception was good, the room was extra clean and smells so good and the bed was so comfortable. The environment is great and peaceful exactly what I needed after a day of work. Is my favorite place at Boksburg
Made a special request when I booked for Halal breakfast and received a response in the affirmative. However after we checked in we were informed that the hotel does not offer. We had to make do with a vegetarian fare.
The entire presentation of the hotel is very appealing, with a very relaxed setting. Good location, easy drive from airport and surrounding businesses. Restaurant and bar - great!! Staff makes you feel at home!
On arrival you get the owner waiting at the gate to welcome you.

The place is walking distance from Birchwood Hotel. The staff (Mr Freedom) was very helpful and friendly. I will surely use the Castle again and feel like a king. :)
