What I loved is that all the ammeninities such as beaches are at least 1 km away from the accommodation of my choice.Variety of beaches to choose from, as for ballito junction mall, it is a stone throw away.
Ballito is a very affluent area.

Ballito is an amazing holiday destination. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Night life and restaurants are many and keeps you entertained. The beaches are clean and clear and is definitely a place to travel to more than once per year.

Ballito is beautiful and “To do activities” are near by, the beaches are clean and quiet. What I didn’t like what the check in part where I was sent back to the office for the keys also the building needs more paint/ renovations it’s looks very ugly on pictures

The unit is right on the beach , with spectacular views of the ocean. Walking distance to everything. It's a double storage unit, living area on the ground, rooms upper level. Will stay there again
We stayed at the property for 4 nights. The location is amazing. Right on the beautiful beach with easy access to it. Views from the terrace are amazing. We could have lived there forever... The apt. is very spacious, 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets/showers. All things in the apartment are very modern, especially the kitchen which is literally luxurious. Owner/compamy very communicative. Great value for money in Ballito for people who are looking for a relaxed beach vacation.
Accommodation was great and would be ideal for younger couples or friends. We booked due to the Ballito Durban running race.
This section of Basllito is very festive and has lots of restaurants. Atmosphere would be amazing if you did not have to wake up at 3am. to start a running race. Details of property should include that it is walking distance of night life. Not suggested for people who need quiet time. Other wise amazing value for money.
Zimbali is a great holiday and relaxation destination. The service is Top Notch and all the Employees will greet and chat. The property and facilities are very clean at all times. We had the English Breakfast at the Poison Bar on Saturday Morning. Well priced and Value for money. The Beach club was were we spent most of our time. Excellent Service, Drink, Food and most of all the Management and Staff.
The views were excellent. Location on the beach was a great bonus. The room was a bit small but cozy. It was a good way to relax. The staff was excellent from the servers to housekeeping.. l tip my hat to Nelly who made provisions for 2 single beds for the children sharing their room. The food from B-Bar was excellent. Loadshedding was kept at bay by LA Montagne's excellent back up generators.
The suite is spacious and everything you need is provided.
The air conditioners work well.
The Zimbali Estate is very accessible as there is pools and access to the private beach. There is a driver that drops you off and collects you.
Ballito and Umhlanga is close by.

Hallo we only have one problem. When we did the booking online we booked 2 rooms for our Director and Manager. When they got to the hotel we paid for 2 rooms and 4 people. The dinner at Fireroom was really disappointing ,really below standard Sushi and Thai food,this really put us of from having breakfast the next day at the hotel.I doubt that we will visit Zimbali again anytime soon,no matter how great the accommodation is/the food is what draws people and sadly Zimbali the standard of your food is really poor.
Liked everything about the location, facilities and amenities. Great for a family with young kids. The host made sure we were taken care of and Skue the cleaning lady was a darling. The place was clean and tide. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool and my hubby and I liked the gym more. Location is close to all ballito beaches
The hotel was in a great location, room was clean and bed very comfortable.
Gabby and Christine were amazing hosts and will book again just to experience their wonderful service. Nothing was too hard and they always had a smile on their face.
If I visit Durban again, this is the place I will be staying.
Great experience overall but there was sand on the floor all the time, it could have been our beach sand :( but it was always there even after they cleaned. Staff was helpful n hotel close to the mall which was great. The bar played nice music
Clean, modern and spacious. Nice location and a decent pool area. Streaming services made available via the hosts Android TV streaming box was a nice touch. Aircons in the bedrooms really helped with the Durban summer heat.
The place is extremely expensive for a 3 star hotel. Even though it's clean but you still have to wait for towels to be washed. For TV channels, some of them you have to request from the bosses house😳
Location is spot on. Close to a variety of restaurants, and Spar plus the beach is right there too. It's affordable accommodation in the right location with what you need
