The place is nice even though there is lot of construction along the area, it is acceptable. what is missing around the area is restaurants, we are forced to eat at places we don't prefer as there is not much choice to choose from. the area is close to beach and little bit of care from municipality is missing.

It was tranquil, but far from shops and the pathway to the beach is through a forest .... not very safe.
The Management at Coral Point are uncouth and very disrespectful.
They have no customer service ethics.

It's an amazing sea front town with a newly built mall...
It's an amazing sea front town with a newly built mall before the nature reserve area. Closer to the beach you will find more smaller shops but ideal for the odds and ends. Parking right along Beach road, many beaches along the way and lots of "rock pools" along this stretch of the coast.

Beautiful beaches, rock pools and clear skies. Dunes, river area, roads and buildings are still under restoration after the floods of 2023. This makes the town area ugly but the beaches are great. Lots of litter in the streets and some on the beach which is very sad.

This apartment was absolutely spotless and ever so comfortable. It had everything necessary for a wonderful stay. The linen was great and the towels were big and thick, there was a huge TV and excellent Wi-fi. The décor is outstanding with attention to detail, beautifully decorated and fitted out. We had a lovely view of the sea and beach with restaurants and shops a few meters away, a supermarket a short walk away. Everything was just perfect, I give it 10/10 and all thanks to Tereza, the owner who was so accommodating and welcoming and definitely has a flair for perfection. Thank you so much Tereza for letting us stay in this beautiful apartment, we loved it.

First time at Umdloti and will recommend to all my friends and family. The beaches are beautiful, the locals are extremely friendly and helpful and all the shops are close by and neat. Can't believe that we have never traveled to this beautiful destination. Easy to get around with even local Tuk-Tuks, very nice restaurants along the beach, North and South. Highly recommending!
What a beautiful location for a holiday! The cottage was renovated recently, so it was in an excellent condition.
The host's are very friendly people that assisted us with every question or concern we had.
The cottage had a beautiful view on the balcony where we could enjoy a braai on a gas BBQ.
Even though there was a lot of activity around us, the cottage was very private and quiet inside.

Apartment- well equipped, owner has really thought of everything from rechargeable lights for load shedding to extra chairs for entertaining. Beds were comfortable.
Balcony- as big as the apartment and is definitely one of the biggest you will get in umdloti.
Comfortable. Short drive to the beach and shops. Located in a very nice area with a 20 min walk through the nature reserve to the beach. Stunning swimming pool. If you like apartment or hotel style holiday this is for you.

The apartment is beautiful, right on the beach and close to the coffee shops and the rock pool. The patio is large so you can really relax and take in the view. The furniture is comfortable and stylish. Great for a family.
