Tanoa Tusitala Hotel, hotel in Apia

Set on 15 acres of tropical gardens, Tanoa Tusitala Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms just 1312 feet from Apia’s waterfront. Each room includes a spacious bathroom, cable TV and a patio or balcony.

Location is great. Rooms are air conditioned, spacious and comfortable - we had a garden view which was beautiful. The carvings in the undercover walkways have been highlighted in colour which look great and show off the workmanship and beauty. Pool area is cool, relaxing and well maintained. Fiafia night on Wednesday is a great addition! The food was delicious, the entertainment vibrant and good service by the staff. Parking is handy and safe. Having a Janet's store on site is great as handy for unplanned purchases and last minute gifts.

Vaea Hotel Samoa, hotel in Apia

Located at the base of its namesake Mount Vaea, this family-run hotel is 3117 feet from Apia's town center.

Vaea Hotel owners Lupe and Dean were gracious, friendly and informative hosts. They went above being hosts, they made you feel like part of their family rather than just a guest! Always smiling and happy. Breakfast was always fresh and great tasting! Farm fresh eggs done different ways, pancakes, toast, coconut jam, peanut butter, jams, marmalade, a fresh variety of fruit and alot of other good food, some being baked goodies such as coconut filled buns, so yummy! The Samoan coffee was an added bonus of tasting great. In the morning, the setting was peaceful and relaxing with the many flowers, plants and bushes with the birds singing. Dean and his son Shane made very good margaritas, a definate must try! A clean hotel with a lovely family owning and running it. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and memorable, Gary and Cheryl.

Moatoga Hotel, hotel in Apia

Moatoga Hotel is a family-owned hotel, located in the heart of central Apia.

Breakfast is okay if only we have a cafeteria for the guests to enjoy their breakfast instead of inside the room coz there's no dinning table except to sit outside the room. Location is nice but we need a bigger parking lot for the guests sometimes we don't have a parking spot. It's unfair for us guests to park on the road and we are paying for the room and to make sure our car is in good hands.

Accommodating to my Father who was in a wheel chair and required disability facilities. Breakfast variety was amazing and they would change it up every other day. Room service was prompt and the food tasted delicious. Pool was great for the kids and easy access to the beach. The rooms were clean and were closer to the reception area. Great customer service from the point of entry until we left the resort.

Apia is a great holiday destination to visit for those that want somewhere to relax. The people are friendly and helpful but do be aware of going to markets. They have locals prices and tourist prices, possibly even in stores as well. So if you know a local there, that will work to your advantage. It is also an advantage if you can learn some key phrases before you go. The locals really appreciate it when they see tourists who are learning or trying to speak their language.

If you want to visit paradise this is the place.

If you want to visit paradise this is the place. I don't like that they use paper straws everywhere. They have good local food. Food was perfect, be aware it's hot so come prepare with summer clothes and gears. Make sure to get a spacious good rental car. Its easy to get around, you can also use Google map. Fish and chips at the fish market is really good🤗👌Also stop by at Revive Restaurants at Vaitele best burgers but, if you're a coffee lover stop by at Coffee Roaster in Togafu'afu'a Apia they have the best coffee in town🤗😎👌👌God's blessings always💙🙏

Our Samoan experience was truly unforgettable, immersed in the beauty of the island, vibrant local vibes, warm hospitality of the Samoan people, and rich cultural encounters. The overall adventure was incredible; however, the drawback was the somewhat excessive pricing and a bit of disappointment with the food offerings.

It's good to get out of town and experience the real cultural life style. You never been to samoa if you don't visit Savaii. Amanaki restaurant got the best menu, decent prices, friendly staff. Pretty easy to wake around town it's not that big. Avoid walking around in town after dark.🤣🤣🤣

When going sightseeing make sure your ready to pay for things such as taking photos of waterfalls etc which we didn’t mind as it was only $5 tala person in the car and any way to make money for the Samoan people is well spent. There are signs where you pay. Is definitely a bonus and makes the trip easier if you have at least one person in our group who speaks the language. The best meal we had was when we attended the Island Grill in Apia. Absolutely delicious food wonderful customer service fast and priced reasonable. Don’t go to the Casino in Apia. It should never have been out there. If people want to gamble you will never win there and it is supporting the wrong cause. Markets were great and lots of souvenirs to take home for the family. Good prices and most people friendly. If you have a weak stomach be careful where you are getting food from. Avoid the stores or road foods. We found hiring a car from the airport and drop off was convenient if you have someone who can drive. We used Moana rentals. The car wasn’t full on pickup from the airport and had quite a few scratches but if you take photos before leaving the airport you will be fine. Drinking a round is a little hectic but once your used to it your fine. If you are looking for a party go to the Hotel Millenia Fridays and Saturdays they have a live band. Bar staff require some customer service training and drinks can be a little warm late in the night as they usually run out.

Good value for money, friendly staff, everyday a different main complimentary breakfast with local fresh fruits, few minutes walk to a convenient store. Although no free WiFi , was not an issue because local Vodafone sim is not expensive and works very well. Providing free beach towels. Few minutes walk is a car rental company. Plenty of food options in the neighborhood. Half hour safe walk to downtown and some nearby attractions.

For the price, the accommodation was more than we expected. The room was comfortable, the hot water very much appreciated and the staff wonderful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical, but plentiful. Along with the usual toast (of which you had as much as you wanted) each morning had a surprise - eggs, extra fruit, coconut jam, Suafaii (samoan porridge). This was a very homely place to stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Object run by very nice and helpful personnel, located in the perfect place- in the middle of rain forest. The main reason of my travel was to observe Samoa's birds- I'm sure you can't find any better place for this kind of activity on this island. There is a free shuttle running to Apia and back every day, excluding Sundays.
