We enjoyed our stay! It is great to have a waterpark in the same hotel. The room was large enough, well furnitured, no carpet. It was not our first time at Cedar Point, so we can compare some hotels. And this hotel becomes our favorite!

The staff was amazing. Receptionist was very kind and welcoming. We had an unpleasant neighbor in the hotel who threw bottles down by our room and there was a gentleman (staff member) who made sure to clean the glass and warn us of the danger before my children came out.

Super clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Vietnamese and Mexican restaurants just steps away. Diner with real breakfast like 1/4 mile drive away.
Only downer was minimal "breakfast. To be fair, it did offer hot waffles. But no eggs that I saw.

Great location.
Great location. Many stores and places to eat in just a couple minutes walk. Only a few minutes down the road to the Cedar Point island road. Felt comfortable walking in the area and getting around by car is very easy and not congested as I had expected it to be.

I didn’t like anything about that place.
I didn’t like anything about that place. That’s why I left after 10 minutes of arrival. The place look very insecure people with bad ass suspect smoking marijuana were roam in the front of the facilities. The parking lot in the back had a huge sign said no parking next to a dumpster. The following day I receive an email from the property saying disregard the sign I was in there and I wasn’t gonna disregard the sign. I didn’t feel comfortable parking my car on the street with this suspicious looking people were standing and drinking and smoking.

Every summer we travel to Sandusky Ohio to visit Cedar Point. Always an awesome experience and traveling in Ohio is comforting due to the improved infrastructure and clean city. We visited Golden Corral on our off day and in comparison to the other locations we vistied, this location was excellent. Good service and hot food. The Walmart as well, similar experience very tidy and clean. Overall travelling in Sandusky you feel safe and will have a great experience.

We were there for a baseball tournament at Sports Force. We stayed at Sawmill Creek and it was PERFECT, just 5 minutes down the road. Honestly, Sandusky was busy during the holiday weekend and it was nice to be able to go right down the road and avoid the traffic!

Cedar point is really it. Nickle Plate Beach was awesome. Sandy at Shore Line Inn was amazing. And Sherry at Starbucks rocked. We are at steak and lube and the food was just ok. But I went to pay with cash and they said they were cashless bc I needed change. I still left a 50% tip because I’ve been in that industry for over 20 years. So I’ve NEVER heard of CASHLESS!! But my friend paid cash and didn’t need change and it was just fine.
I arrived early and Kurt, the desk clerk was very kind during check-in. He asked if I might like to sit by the pool during my wait and was offered bottles of water to bring with me. The room was very clean and comfortable (although it could have used a bit of updating in the bathroom). Maggie organized a great free breakfast that helped us get off to a great start. And the last thing is that the location was fantastic as it was just yards down from the Cedar Point hotel.
I being traveling to few places and always l staying in this hotel l really like la Quinta hotel but this location at Sandusky was pretty disappointing, the hotel was pretty awful and the price l think was pretty high compared with the other location, also is the first time that l have to request clean my room in advance l though it was a hotel policy clean the rooms every day.
They tried to charge 100 deposit and there website said 25 on their site. They refused to refund my money and as well this site also. I'm basically out and never went to the hotel because they said nothing about a 100 deposit. I'm not happy about it at all. I should be refunded for it PERIOD
I loved the convenience of hotel relative to Cedar Point amusement Park. It was nice to walk to/from the hotel after walking around all day at the park. This was our first stay at this hotel and we loved the convenience! Also, we enjoyed the Starbucks in the hotel.
The perfect budget hotel for a visit to Cedar Point. The hotel room was clean and large. The check in was easy, and the free bottles of water a nice touch. The breakfast was fine for the price, and perfect to fuel us before hitting the themepark.
Hotel's indoor swimming pool was closed for maintainence. Location is great, close to stores, restaurants and the Interstate. The complimentary breakfast included Hot waffles, scrambled eggs and sausauge which was a nice surprise.

I was very happy with how clean the room was. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the pool was very nice. My family enjoyed their stay. When we come back to ohio we will definitely be choosing to stay here again.
It was a great place to get some shut eye after a long day at Cedar Point. The room was clean, shower was hot and the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly.
The room was cute. Bunk beds are definitely not made for teenagers but they worked ok. Water park was great! Loved the game room. Finding all the little doors was cute.
