Did not think location very good, Property was under construction. Our room had a couple wholes in the walls and the carpet was very dirty. Needed a major cleaning or replacement.

Salt Lake City is the surprisingly green Utah capital between the mighty Wasatch Mountain Range and the Great Salt Lake. Aside from skyscrapers housing industrial banks, the skyline is dominated by monuments of the Church of the Latter-Day Saints which is headquartered here.
A church member, Brigham Young, founded the city in what is now This Is The Place Heritage Park. A tower sculpture commemorates the settlers’ trek across America by handcart, an example of which is in the Pioneer Memorial Museum. Walled Temple Square has the main Mormon sights: the Temple is only visitable by members, but anyone can listen to the famous Tabernacle choir.
The State Capitol sits majestically on top of a hill with views of peaks offering winter skiing and summer hiking. The city hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics and one venue was the Olympic Cauldron Park within the University of Utah, also home of the Fine Art Museum and Natural History Museum.
The Gilgal Sculpture Garden is a more unusual Salt Lake City attraction and down the road is the Trolley Square Mall. More branded stores are in the Gateway District, while Sugar House is more trendy and eclectic.
Booking.com’s accommodation options include hotels with hot tubs, motels allowing pets and cheap apartments near Salt Lake City Airport.

I have been to Salt Lake City on numerous occasions, and always tell people to avoid it. The people are nasty and mean. No one knows how to drive and are completely oblivious that they are driving down the road. I tried walking around this last time and almost got struck by a vehicle several times. Unless you are into drinking near beer and looking at Mormon temples, there is absolutely nothing to do in this town. The first few times I unfortunately had to go to this town, I didn't even see the mountains surrounding the town because of the terrible air pollution. I would definitely say skip it and just head to St. George in the south where there are at least some things to see. Seriously, Salt Lake City is a dump!

We ate at Cafe Molise, an Italian restaurant located within walking distance of the Little America. The salmon was “to-die-for” and the in-house, homemade gnocchi in light, creamy basil sauce with pine nuts was the bomb. Cool atmosphere! Our room was super comfortable with ample space in bathroom and sitting area. We loved having two separate vanities. It was a lovely, upscale place to stay right downtown. Hale Centre Theatre 🎭 in Sandy was excellent. We really enjoyed the professional rendition of “Fiddler on the Roof”. Impressive theatre. Skiing is fantastic and close!

We spent most of the time at the Salt Palace for an Outdoor Expo, which was wonderful. The downtown area had a diversified selection of restaurants and most all were great! Downtown still had Christmas lights in mid February, which made it festive in one of the dullest months.
Overall, the city was clean even though there is a large homeless population that occupied one section of the city. With that being said, there wasn’t really any issues that normally come with that.
Salt Lake City has a lot of concerts, professional basketball and many trade expos in addition to a great choice of restaurants and night life.

SLC was just a layover - flew in/out to drive to Moab.
SLC was just a layover - flew in/out to drive to Moab. We spent an afternoon walking around Temple Square (interesting) and the immediate neighborhood. Fair number of restaurants (and even a cocktail bar!) in walking distance. Also a couple museums we didn't have time to visit. Went to Great Salt Lake State Park before heading to airport. Stop in the Visitor's Center. Highly recommend coffee and breakfast sandwiches at Cupla Coffee on W 200 South and Pago on S 900 E for dinner. *Note: I truly don't understand the street naming system!!

I was mostly in the Convention Center which was nice.
I was mostly in the Convention Center which was nice. Temperature in the Center was awesome. I ate at Fat Jack's Burger Emporium. It was ok. Nothig too special. Not many food chpices that didn't include spicy seasonings. I also ate at Brio Italian restaurant. The food was very good and the prices were not too pricey.
I stood at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel. In the evening many drug addicts would roam around and the homeless would go into the hotel to use the lobby bathroom, but the Hotel outside doors locked at 11pm and no one could get in without a room key.
The apartment was immaculately clean and stylish and well appointed, also spacious and in a nice location. I had trouble finding the instructions to get in on my email/text when I arrived near midnight, and I was able to call the property help line and a person answered to tell me how to get into the apartment. Excellent service, excellent property. It was not exactly cheap (close to $200/night all told) but it was also much more than a hotel room -- eg full kitchen, bathroom, walk-in closet, sitting area w/ TV, large bathroom.
Breakfast was included, and the staff was nice and helpful. They gave us recommendations or directions whenever we needed them. The room was clean and spacious. Even though we didn't have any animals with us, I did like that pets were allowed - that's not something you see a lot and I thought it was cool.
Close to the airport, so when I dropped my friends off there before I started my own drive back home, it was super quick and easy. 10 minute or so drive to downtown Salt Lake as well.
The room is in a good condition and just remodeled. The room is big, clean, and has all necessary things; iron, hair dryer, Direct TV, refrigerator, and microwave. Two queen beds are comfortable. Breakfasts are great with waffle, eggs, sausage, milk with cereal, etc. and arranged in the nice restaurant. We haven't used the airport shuttle. However, I saw the airport shuttles in front of the hotel ready for picking up hotel guests. This hotel is worth for the money!
All the staff were excellent--the shuttle driver, the various people at reception, the woman who set up breakfast--; all were cheerful and helpful. The room was spacious (including a seating area with couch and easy chair), clean, and comfortable. The location (10 minutes by van shuttle from the airport) was in an area of hotels and several restaurants (all within very easy walking distance).
The grounds and facilities are wonderful. It's a whole city block compound downtown. Two fancier-looking high rise hotels and several buildings of motel-style rooms. We stayed in the motel style. You can pull your car right up to the door. They comped the parking fee, which seems like the right thing to do for a motel. Room was large enough with nice furnishings and a good bathroom.
A kind staff welcomes you at arrival and they do their best to run this business in the right way: my room was flooded but soon they change and offered me a refund. Actually the room wasn't perfect: floor was sticky and the bathroom had some hair in the basin. It's quite far from the city centre but very close to the airport.
The Little America Hotel is well situated in downtown Salt Lake City, one block from the light rail and less than 15 minutes from the airport. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are spacious and the beds are quite comfortable. They come with a spacious safety box and a mini fridge, which are quite useful.
Great location, easily accessible from airport and freeway and a short walk from the downtown area. Easy parking. Check-in was quick, and we were made to feel very welcome. Large room with very comfortable beds and great bathroom. Pretty good breakfast. Good WiFi.
Comfortable, clean and good sized room - well appointed and relaxing.
The staff were great, location easy for the airport and a short walk from the tram line for downtown and city centre.
Enjoyed my stay. Really good.
The hotel was close to the airport, which is what we needed flying out of SLC. The pool and spa were very nice. Breakfast had many choices and was good. Exercise room had enough equipment for our needs.
Great value compared to other sites. Close to downtown and we could walk from hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and hotel were very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend.
I like the location of the hotel and how close it is to the Delta Center. Also, I like the room and how nice the room is. I like the couch in the sitting area and the desk.
