The front desk staff was very helpful, breakfast was great and the breakfast staff were on top of things and were checking to see that they didn't run out of anything. I didn't meet any staff member that didn't have a smile on their face.

Always a great time in Rockport, sight-seeing and just enjoying the coastal areas. The Little Bay is beautiful sight, early morning and lit up at night. Rockport is always having some special event or fun festivals and several great places to eat. Our favorite place is the very casual/ (with inside and outdoor dining) Boiling Pot! Most everything you may need is available in Rockport, with a great selection of places including economy hotels and waterfront B&B's, good restaurants and fast food, HEB, Walgreens, and gasoline with average prices. Wouldn't change a thing!

We visited Rockport in early April and it was pretty quiet, there was no issue getting a table in any of the places we visited. The beach is a 5 min drive from the Pigeon House and is a beautiful clean sandy beach. From there we wandered into Rockport and easily found a great coffee shop and ice cream place, and a handful of shops. All the locals were super friendly and welcoming. There is an HEB store just across the highway from the Pigeon House which was very convenient for stocking up on groceries.

Beautiful little town with a resort feel.
Beautiful little town with a resort feel. Driving about is easy using the bay front drive and business 35. Lots of cutesy shops in the art district. Travel a short distance to Lamar for a classic beer joint with fabulous burgers called Pop’s place . While there drive to “The Big Tree” and check out the Whooping cranes. We saw 15 standing in a field by Lamar beach road.

The kitchenette was very nice & clean.
The kitchenette was very nice & clean. Refrigerator & stove was sparkling as well as the toilet & shower. The bed was comfortable and the mattress pad, sheets & blankets were very clean! They even provide a washer & dryer for your convenience! The TV was a bit of a problem but I think that’s only because we aren’t familiar with Roku TV. Especially loved the fact that our fur babies were welcome & that there was no additional charges for them! ONLY complaint was the road noise in the first cottage. Will definitely return!!

We came to Rockport for the annual Rockport Sea Fair, this is our 4th year attending it. There is a great selection of music from country to cajun; we came to attend the Bellamy Brothers concert Friday night. There are many choices of food as well as booths selling various kinds of merchandise. We had planned to do some fishing for reds but it was too windy this time. Definitely would recommend a visit to Rockport. Pier 77 is a great place to eat, just be prepared for large plates of food, we could easily have shared a plate. Paradise Key is our favorite restaurant by far. The Boiling Pot has a great cajun boil which is especially nice in cooler weather. Main street Rockport has a nice selection of shops.

Not good way to start off my trip

We loved staying at the Pigeon House Upper Floor in Rockport. Greg and Lupe were great communicators and went out of their way to make everything perfect for us. The accommodation was beautifully furnished, spacious and spotlessly clean. We had great views over the water and enjoyed watching a variety of birds. Yarbaritas next door was a great plus- happy hour cocktails were great and the staff were very friendly. The Pigeon House exceeded our expectations.
It was clean and spacious room. Clean bathroom, clean room. We were secluded on one wing of the hotel and had tons of privacy. It was very nice. The breakfast was good, it sucked the first morning though because there were no plates for the breakfast. Had to kinda make shift it lol but overall the room was good, parking was easy and the stay was convenient for the purpose we needed it for.
Check in was remote, code emailed with details of where to park, which appartment, alternative parking and who to contact if there was an issue.
Sizewise its good, one very large room with a seperate bathroom, big tv, good aircon, coffee maker (and pods for a week) and a quite fridge. Very good price for a week in rockport, just make sure your happy mostly eating out.
Breakfast is not applicable. Location is excellent for anyone visiting Rockport and Fulton area. It was great for visiting Port Aransas. Port A. Was only a 10-15 min drive to the ferry and the only down side for Port A, is having to use the ferry to cross there and back but the lower cost of the stay made up for it.
Our time at this place was awesome. It was super clean and big. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, which was great since we had kids with us. The beds were comfy, and they left lots of towels and cleaning stuff. It was easy to get to Rockport and Port Aransas from here. Definitely recommend!
Distance to the fishing peir. Though I appreciate that we were allowed to change our travel date due to severe weather. We visit Rockport at least 3/4 times a year. Love the city and community. We have stayed at Bayfront Cottages several years back but this experience was very disappointing
The grounds and cabin are great just a little ways off from the main in rockport. This was our second stay and also found that because of where its located it shaved off 20 off our arrival time since we typically stay newr the rockport Bridge area.
The location was good for to the Whooping Crane birding activities that were in Lamar and Rockport. The bed was decent, but comfort would have been better if there were extra pillows in the room. We liked that the room had a safe in it.
Love the location and view!! The free breakfast was a fabulous hot breakfast, not one of these continental only ones. Staff was super friendly and helpful..Love the old world charm of this hotel!
The hotel property was very run down. The room was very dirty. There were stains on the walls, missing fixtures in the restroom, stains on the sheets, stains on the walls and etc.
The hotel and room were very clean. The size of the room and amenities were excellent. Staff was amazing at helping us find stores and restaurants to try.
