Beautiful little town with a resort feel. Driving about is easy using the bay front drive and business 35. Lots of cutesy shops in the art district. Travel a short distance to Lamar for a classic beer joint with fabulous burgers called Pop’s place . While there drive to “The Big Tree” and check out the Whooping cranes. We saw 15 standing in a field by Lamar beach road.

The kitchenette was very nice & clean.
The kitchenette was very nice & clean. Refrigerator & stove was sparkling as well as the toilet & shower. The bed was comfortable and the mattress pad, sheets & blankets were very clean! They even provide a washer & dryer for your convenience! The TV was a bit of a problem but I think that’s only because we aren’t familiar with Roku TV. Especially loved the fact that our fur babies were welcome & that there was no additional charges for them! ONLY complaint was the road noise in the first cottage. Will definitely return!!

We came to Rockport for the annual Rockport Sea Fair, this is our 4th year attending it. There is a great selection of music from country to cajun; we came to attend the Bellamy Brothers concert Friday night. There are many choices of food as well as booths selling various kinds of merchandise. We had planned to do some fishing for reds but it was too windy this time. Definitely would recommend a visit to Rockport. Pier 77 is a great place to eat, just be prepared for large plates of food, we could easily have shared a plate. Paradise Key is our favorite restaurant by far. The Boiling Pot has a great cajun boil which is especially nice in cooler weather. Main street Rockport has a nice selection of shops.

The apparrtment we booked was within walking distance of rockport pier and beach. It was a 5-10 min drive to a large number of takeaways, laundrettes, gas stations, supermarkets and walmart.
Rockport has some nice beaches, piers, wildlife sanctuarys and a lot of saltware fishing. Its very tourist friendly and relaxed.

Love Rockport. Stumbled upon Market Days, great vendors.
Love Rockport. Stumbled upon Market Days, great vendors. Highly recommend a bay fishing with The Saltwater Cowboy. Scott Is a fantastic guide & the fishing was fantastic. Great weekend getaway, just wish we had more time.
Bed bugs galore! I have suffered with all the bed bugs. Manager agreed that there was bed bugs. I suffer from PTSD and I am traumatized by this. This should never have happened if those people should have been proactive. My vehicle was broken into and valuable items were stolen. I reported to Rockport police. I am trying to get my refund. That's all!!!!! I have not heard from anyone since this happened. Had to cut my trip short because of these terrible situations.
Location was great. Right across the street from the water. Has a private pier. A/C works fine. TV worked fine with lots of channels. Was not able to hook up with the internet. No utensils or cups or cleaning products were in the room. No stove in the kitchen area. Only fridge and microwave and sink. Place was clean. Did see a cockroach, but this is S Texas in the summer. Personnel in the office were nice and helpful. Convenient to everything in Rockport.
Front staff was amazing!!! Hotel was super clean!! All the amenities were great. The bathroom was very large which I’m most hotels is a coat closet so this was perfect. We even used the pool which we never do because it was very inviting and clean, plenty of room for kids to
Play and splash without disturbing others .. we were the “others”. Definitely will be staying again!
Great value hotel in a great location. Nice sized rooms. Nice pool. Shopping and restaurants close by within a few minutes' drive. Included breakfast options include proteins. Weekly and monthly rates available. Best value in town for a budget traveler and a good alternative to signing a lease on an apartment if you're staying for awhile.
The lighthouse Inn was just what the doctor ordered. Relaxing in the morning with coffee watching the sunrise on the bay, then a great buffet style breakfast. 1 mile from rockport Beach, which also was a pleasant clear water surprise. Lots of shops in the town and lots of local artist. I will definitely make this my new hideaway.
Breakfast is not applicable. Location is excellent for anyone visiting Rockport and Fulton area. It was great for visiting Port Aransas. Port A. Was only a 10-15 min drive to the ferry and the only down side for Port A, is having to use the ferry to cross there and back but the lower cost of the stay made up for it.
Distance to the fishing peir. Though I appreciate that we were allowed to change our travel date due to severe weather. We visit Rockport at least 3/4 times a year. Love the city and community. We have stayed at Bayfront Cottages several years back but this experience was very disappointing
#1 - great room size' #2 excellent cleanliness both room and property, #3 Breakfast, #4 quiet nights (no parking lot parties...), #5 Fishing Pier!, #6 nice pool, and the staff were so professional. My best stay in Rockport (7 trips in 2 years).
We loved the breakfast, it’s very convenient. Everything was clean for the most part, the hotel had things we didn’t think to bring. Other guests staying there were very nice. It was a nice little drive to the beach, definitely will come back.
The hotel property was very run down. The room was very dirty. There were stains on the walls, missing fixtures in the restroom, stains on the sheets, stains on the walls and etc.
Overall, this is a good hotel. I found a few hairs in the room, which is the main reason the score is not high.
The staff - some are charming and some are very unpleasant.
The hotel and room were very clean. The size of the room and amenities were excellent. Staff was amazing at helping us find stores and restaurants to try.
