The woman who was in charge of the breakfast was awesome!! I did not get her name but she was friendly and chatty and very helpful. The front desk people were the same two men for both days we were there and they were knowledgeable and helpful as well.

They kept putting BooKing down. very bad front desk. Two coffee pods in 4 days despite calls. NEVER stay there again. No help w anything. Not medical-centric. I struggled a lot. Asked for a little help. NOT avail I was told.

Only reason to go to Rochester was the Mayo Clinic. However, Booking.com did not give us the Mayo discount, don't know if that's possible through Booking.com. There is a Mayo discount with Home2Suites. Rochester has some very nice restaurants.

Rochester is arguably the most important medical city in the US if not the world. People come from all over the world for treatments at the facilities in Rochester. It is a melting pot on any given day. It is a small city but has everything anyone needs, all within an enclosed subway and skyway system so the weather does not affect movement around the downtown area.

Rochester was a very good place we were there for the Mercy Clinic for a family member. Everyone was very nice friendly helpful that was my first visit ever for me and my family the restaurants were great outstanding number I can give him 10 out of a 10 everywhere we went to eat at we will be coming back again it's not always great visits for what you're there for but it's how the people and places and businesses treat you thank you very much.
I was there for a surgery at Mayo. There was a basketball team there who were yelling and screaming all night. They put us right next to the pool. We could have at least been across the hall. We reserved a king which was not available. They did end up moving us to a nice room on the 8th floor with breakfast. The coffee was cold and no food left. There was no maid service. We later found out you had to ask for it. The maids were very nice once we figured that out. The location is what we liked most. Closest hotel to Mayo
Home2 Suites was a wonderful base for our time in Rochester. The proximity to the Zumbro river trail was great for morning runs. The breakfast offered a good amount of choices, with healthy and hearty options. A big plus was the pool. Not only was it warm, the opening hours are long, which is great for families. The staff was fantastic too. Additional kudos to Alan who jumped in to help guests wherever possible, and always with a smile and kind word.
The hotel was easy to find. Parking was convenient, and I felt safe considering it was dark when I arrived. The room was on the 9th floor and very quiet. It was well decorated, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and fully stocked. The restaurant attached to the hotel was accommodating, and the food was delicious, as well as reasonably priced.
If I need to visit Rochester again, I will try and book my lodgings with Kahler.
Location is close to a lot of shops and stores - and a straight shot to downtown Rochester. Room was clean and comfortable and the hotel nice and quiet. The suite was very nice - my son could watch TV while I slept in the other room. Shower worked well and the bathroom was super clean. Was also nice to be able to pick up a daily paper downstairs as well as tourist info on Rochester. Front desk staff were nice, too.

Room size is large. Bed was comfortable. Shuttle on demand to Mayo Clinic is great, although it is little more than a five minute walk from the hotel. The on-site restaurant, Twiggs, is excellent. Try their Bacon chicken wild rice soup, yummy.
This hotel is phenomenal!! Comfy bed, pillows, spacious. It's within the downtown subway walking and skyway to Mayo, shopping, and restaurants. We never went outside the entire stay. If you're here for the mayo, this is where to stay.

The hotel for me is a good value for the money, The fact that it is a walking distance to Mayo Clinic where I came for medical treatment mean it will always be my preferred hotel anytime I come into Rochester

The beds were very comfortable. It’s rare to find a hotel with decent beds. I slept like a baby. Also loved the fact pets (who are not just service animals) are allowed.
